His mission instantly becomes rectifying every item, for the sake of their marriage. It's the quintessential love story of our time - filled with unmitigated hate." Warner Bros. Television is producing. (Deadline.com)
BIG LEAP (FOX) - Tony winner Laura Benanti is the latest bound for the ballet-themed drama pilot as Paula Dirks, "a tap dancer and white-collar former V.P. at one of the major car companies who decides that The Big Leap is a chance to just be vulnerable, let go of her fears and explore her artistic side." (Variety.com)

IN TREATMENT (HBO) - The pay channel is mulling a revival of the Gabriel Byrne-led therapy drama, nearly a decade after it signed off. Said effort stems from the appeal of its format - "extended scenes of two socially-distanced characters talking" - in the age of coronavirus. (TVLine.com)
MARVEL'S HAWKEYE (Disney+) - Rhys Thomas and Bert & Bertie (Amber Finlayson and Katie Ellwood) have been tapped as directors on the Jeremy Renner-led series. (THR.com)
NICK CANNON (Syndication) - Producer Debmar-Mercury has pushed the debut of the new daytime syndicated talk show until next year. "The Nick Cannon Talk Show will not debut this year," the company said in a statement. "After conversations with Nick, we do believe that his public comments don't reflect his true feelings and his apology is heartfelt & sincere. We want to continue the healing process as he meets with leaders of the Jewish community and engages in a dialogue with our distribution partners to hear their views. We are standing by Nick in our hope that by fall 2021 he will be able to use his extraordinary talent and platform to entertain, enlighten & unite his audience on the Nick Cannon talk show." (Deadline.com)
SURREALTOR, THE (Syfy) - Danishka Esterhazy has signed on as the producing director on the upcoming drama, which is set to begin shooting in Newfoundland this fall. (Deadline.com)
