The project is based on Alix Spiegel's installment of "This American Life" and Bennett Singer and Patrick Sammon's upcoming PBS documentary "Cured," all of whom will receive producing credits. As the surviving superpowers turn on each other, a young weapons specialist is brought in to create a revolutionary, self-replicating, A.I. army, that will transform the fate of humanity." The project is set up at Fox 21 Television Studios with The Littlefield Company's Warren Littlefield also executive producing. (Deadline.com)
