$100,000 PYRAMID, THE (ABC) - The Michael Strahan-hosted series is scheduled to begin production on its fifth season the last week of August. Said run was originally scheduled to film in June but was hit by the COVID-19 production shutdown. The series "will be shot with all of the usual health and safety protocols with crews and contestants having their temperatures tested, with PPE equipment and social distancing measures." (Deadline.com)
FRIENDS (HBO Max) - The much-ballyhooed reunion special has been delayed once again by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Most recently said effort was scheduled to tape on August 17. (Deadline.com)
REMOTE (CBSAA, New!) - Paul Lieberstein is developing a remote workplace comedy at the streaming service "set around a wunderkind boss who, in an effort to ensure his staff's connectedness and productivity, asks them all to virtually interact and work face-to-face all day." CBS Television Studios is behind the project with Propagate Content's Ben Silverman, Howard Owens and Rodney Ferrell as well as Big Breakfast's Luke Kelly-Clyne and Kevin Healey also serving as executive producers.
