CLAWS (TNT) - Production on the series will shut down for two weeks "due to [an asymptomatic] team member testing positive for COVID-19." (Deadline.com)
DC'S STARGIRL (The CW) - Jim Gaffigan has signed onto the show's second season as the voice of Thunderbolt, "a magical, electrical, fun-loving, wish-granting pink imp from the mysterious land of Bahdnesia." (EW.com)
LOVE LIFE (HBO Max) - William Jackson Harper is set to topline the show's second season which "will remain set in New York City but will focus on a new character's journey. It centers on Harper's character as he comes out of a years-long relationship with the woman he thought was going to be his person. The rug pulled out from under him, he is plunged back into the search for the romantic fulfillment that he thought he'd already found." (Deadline.com)
MANDALORIAN, THE (Disney+) - Sophie Thatcher is rumored to be joining the franchise as part of the show's proposed third season or "an offshoot series." Lucasfilm has yet to confirm a third season - despite being "in pre-production for months" - or a potential spin-off. (Deadline.com)
WHITSTABLE PEARL (Acorn TV) - Howard Charles has been cast in the Julie Wassmer adaptation as McGuire. Kerry Godliman stars in the project, which explores the dark undercurrents of murder and debauchery swirling beneath the surface of the picturesque 16th century English seaside town of Whitstable, famous for its native oysters and buffeted by the prevailing winds and spray of the North Sea.
