By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The latest development news, culled from recent wire reports:

ALL AMERICAN (The CW) - Mike Merrill is slated to recur on the series as Christian Mosley, "a young, hungry talent director who is J.P Keating's protege in the sports drama." (Deadline.com)
AMERICAN HOUSEWIFE (ABC) - Holly Robinson Peete will recur on the current season as Tami, "a close friend of Katie's (Katy Mixon) before the Ottos moved to Westport. Tami helped Katie quite a bit when Katie was a new mom - Katie always looked to Tami for advice, even considering her to be a bit "mom sensei." When Tami's two older children went off to college, she and her husband celebrated being empty-nesters. That celebration resulted in a now eight-year-old daughter. So when Tami moves to Westport with a youngster of her own, Katie is thrilled to reconnect with her old friend and hopes to return the favor and help her out." (Deadline.com)
GENTLEMAN JACK (HBO) - Filming has begun in Yorkshire, England on the period drama's second season. Suranne Jones, Sophie Rundle, Gemma Whelan, Gemma Jones and Timothy West are among the co-stars set to reprise their roles on the series, joined by Joanna Scanlan as "Lister's (Jones) outrageous former lover Isabella 'Tib' Norcliffe." (Deadline.com)
IN TREATMENT (HBO) - Anthony Ramos has been cast in the show's revival as Eladio, "a patient who works as a home health aide for a wealthy family's adult son." (Deadline.com)
WALKER (The CW) - Chris Labadie has scored a recurring role on the upcoming drama as Jordan, "a hardened, tough ex-con who is in the Green Thumb and Grace program - and he's also involved in a heroin smuggling operation. He's a smarmy guy who knows how to get under Walker's skin." (Deadline.com)
WHY WOMEN KILL (CBSAA) - Virginia Williams, Jessica Phillips and Eileen Galindo are the latest bound for the anthology's second season. Williams will play Grace, "one of the beautiful, wealthy, upscale women who are Rita's (Lana Parilla) friends and members of the exclusive garden society"; with Phillips as Joan, "a beautiful, upscale, entitled woman who is a member of a very exclusive garden society lead by Rita"; and Galindo as Isabel, "Rita's maid with a bit of an edge, wry and pragmatic." (Deadline.com)
