discovery+ TRUE CRIME PREMIERES

UNSEAMLY: THE INVESTIGATION OF PETER NYGÅRD

All Four Episodes Available to Stream on Friday, February 5

Peter Nygård is the fashion mogul you've never heard of. Although the Canadian "King of Polyester" was never a household name, Nygård built an international fashion empire worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Nygård led an extravagant playboy lifestyle, constantly surrounded by beautiful, young women, and owned a set of lavish homes - including a massive six-acre estate he built in the Bahamas. But hiding beneath the outlandish public persona, scores of women say, was a dangerous sexual predator who 'practiced' and 'perfected' the crime of sexual assault for decades. More than 80 women in the Bahamas, Canada and the United States have joined a class action lawsuit accusing Nygård and his companies of rape, sexual assault, and sex trafficking dating back to the 1970s. Their accusations have led to an investigation by the FBI and ultimately Nygård's December arrest in Canada for extradition to the United States.

IF I CAN'T HAVE YOU: THE JODI ARIAS STORY

Special Available to Stream on Friday, February 12

Jodi Arias is one of America's most confounding killers. Her trial for the murder of Travis Alexander unfolded live on TV, as media and viewers were engrossed by a passionate love affair shrouded in betrayal, violence, and ultimately, murder. Jodi Arias was propelled to infamy and labeled a deviant, a temptress, a liar, and a sociopath; but is that the whole story? IF I CAN'T HAVE YOU reveals the truth about Jodi's past and her relationship with Travis, and looks into the shocking details of what really happened in the weeks leading up to his death. Featuring incredible access to Jodi's diaries, unseen police interviews from the investigation, exclusive testimony from both the prosecution and defense, as well as intimate accounts from friends and family, this special reveals the never-before-told story about who Travis and Jodi really were.

In AMERICAN DETECTIVE, Kenda trades in his own case files to bring viewers astounding investigations from across the country, with each episode putting a different homicide detective at the forefront whose tireless efforts helped put a killer behind bars and bring justice for the victim. Kenda guides us through the nuances of each case and the dogged detective work featured in AMERICAN DETECTIVE, the riveting raconteur whose gruff voice and deadpan delivery keep us hanging on his every word.

· A Face with No Name Begins Streaming on Wednesday, February 3 The lifeless body of North Carolina teen and aspiring pilot Andrew Derenzy is found at an empty construction site. After a series of dead ends, Detective Josh Hamilton discovers a promising lead on the pages of a shared family bank account.
