LONDON'S FINEST, BISHOP AND PIKE, HEAD TO SOUTH AFRICA IN A THREE-PART "BULLETPROOF" SPECIAL EVENT PREMIERING MONDAY, MARCH 15 ON THE CW

January 26, 2021 (Burbank, CA) - The CW Network announced today that the third season of the action-packed series BULLETPROOF will return as a three-episode special event premiering Monday, March 15 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT), followed by BLACK LIGHTNING. The subsequent episodes will air on Monday, March 22 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT) and Monday, March 29 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT).

In season three, the BULLETPROOF three-episode special finds the British NCA detectives and best friends, Aaron Bishop (Noel Clarke) and Ronnie Pike Jr. (Ashley Walters), heading to South Africa in search of a much-needed vacation from their London day-job. Unfortunately for them, rest and relaxation will have to wait as they get swept up in the kidnapping of a young girl and they soon find themselves delving into the criminal underbelly of Cape Town. This tense, action-packed journey will take them from the lavish world of Cape Town's elite, through the poverty-stricken townships, with danger around every corner. Bishop and Pike will learn that not everyone with a badge can be trusted.

Created by Noel Clarke, Ashley Walters and Nick Love, BULLETPROOF is produced by Vertigo Films in Association with Unstoppable Film and Television, and Sky Studios. BULLETPROOF was commissioned by Zai Bennett, Managing Director of Content at Sky and Paul Gilbert, Executive Producer at Sky Studios. For Vertigo, it is Executive Produced by Allan Niblo, co-founder of Vertigo Films. Sue de Beauvoir ("Merlin"), Noel Clarke ("Brotherhood"), Ashley Walters ("Top Boy"), and Nick Love ("The Football Factory") also serve as Executive Producers. BULLETPROOF is distributed by NBCUniversal Global Distribution.
