ANIMAL KINGDOM (TNT) - Jasper Polish, Darren Mann, Kevin Csolak and Stevie Lynn Jones are all bound for the show's sixth and final season. Polish, Mann and Csolak will appear in flashback as the younger versions of the Cody children: Julia, Baz (Scott Speedman) and Pope (Shawn Hatosy), respectively; with Jones as Penny, "an intelligent, beautiful young woman in her early 20s. A rule breaker in her youth, she's trying to stay on the straight and narrow. She's stuck in a loveless marriage to a Marine. She and J become close, dangerously close." (Deadline.com)
CALL MY AGENT! (Netflix) - The streamer is reportedly in early talks to acquire the show's fifth season and a spin-off movie from Mother Production and Mon Voisin Productions. It's understood the feature-length film would be shot first, should it move forward, with a proposed fifth season taking place after the movie. (Variety.com)
EPIC (ABC) - Brittany O'Grady is the latest addition to the fairytale drama pilot as Luna, "a fairytale princess made cynical by a broken heart. She doesn't believe in love stories, which is unfortunate because she is about to find herself caught in the most epic one of all - her own." (Deadline.com)
GIRL FROM PLAINVILLE, THE (Hulu) - Lisa Cholodenko has signed on to helm the first two episodes of the Elle Fanning-led limited series, inspired by the true story of Michelle Carter's controversial "texting-suicide" case. (Deadline.com)
GIRLS5EVA (Peacock) - Daniel Breaker has been cast in the upcoming comedy as Scott, "Dawn's (Sara Bareilles) husband. Despite being supportive, he struggles to adjust to the changes that the group brings: a new roommate in Wickie (Goldsberry), and Dawn's shifting priorities as she commits to restarting a music career." MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH, THE (Showtime) - Emmy nominee Rob Delaney is the latest to be cast in the Chiwetel Ejiofor-led drama as Hatch Flood, "neer-do-well of a prominent tech family, whose obsession with the work of a previous visitor from the stars causes him to lose everything, including his family." NEW AMSTERDAM (NBC) - Co-star Anupam Kher, who plays Vijay Kapoor, is exiting the series following the news that "his wife, actress Kirron Kher, has been diagnosed with a type of blood cancer." (Deadline.com)
PAM & TOMMY (Hulu) - Pepi Sonuga and Andrew Dice Clay are the latest additions to the Lily James/Sebastian Stan-led limited series, about the release of the sex tape of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee. Sonuga will play Melanie, "Pam's best friend and wing-woman. Confident and strong, she becomes overprotective when bad-boy rock star Tommy Lee takes a liking to her best friend." And Clay is Butchie: "A mob guy but not a "Mob Guy," Butchie's malevolence is matter-of-fact and he's tired of what you've said before you've finished saying it. He can't stand clowns, but that's who borrows money at loan-shark interest rates, so he controls himself when dealing with them. Until they f*ck up." (Deadline.com)
POGMENTARY, THE (Amazon, New!) - Manchester United's Paul Pogba is the latest soccer star set to be the focus a documentary series at the streamer, due in 2022: "Prime members will discover his world through previously unreleased footage from his childhood and conversations with his family, friends and teammates. His fans will also learn more about his life, passions and accomplishments, looking at what were the key moments on his journey to become one of the most influential football players and icons in the world." The project is part of an overall deal Pogba has signed with Amazon Studios. (Deadline.com)
SPOOK WHO SAT BY THE DOOR, THE (FX) - Christina Jackson has scored a lead role on the Y'lan Noel-led drama pilot as Joy Freeman, "an up-and-coming attorney committed to making a difference in her community and Dan's (Noel) wife." (Deadline.com)
STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS (Paramount+) - A newly arrived guest actor has tested positive for coronavirus on the series. It's understood said result came during a fitting, with close contacts subsequently quarantined. Filming has not been paused. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED BLUMHOUSE FILM SERIES (EPIX) - Ali LeRoi is set to direct the new franchise's second film, "American Refugee," which is "centered around a family seeking shelter in their neighbor's bunker, when the American economy is in collapse, the nation is under martial law, and the danger inside is potentially greater than the danger outside." Allison and Nicolas Buckmelter penned the script. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED COLTON UNDERWOOD PROJECT (Netflix, New!) - The former "The Bachelor" star Colton Underwood is set to be the focus of a new reality project at the streamer. The news follows Underwood's interview earlier today on "Good Morning America" in which he came out as gay. No auspices were given. (Deadline.com)
WHY WOMEN KILL (Paramount+) - Rachel Bay Jones will recur on the show's second season as Maisie: "She is a "chanteuse" who performs at a local club. She is befriended by her vet, Bertram (Nick Frost), and we find that she is more vulnerable and lonely than she lets on." (Deadline.com)
