Aida Osman, KaMillion And Jonica Booth To Star In Max Original RAP SH*T (wt) With Sadé Clacken Joseph Directing

· Logline: RAP SH*T (wt) follows two estranged high school friends from Miami, Shawna and Mia, who reunite to form a rap group.

· Cast:

· Aida Osman (Executive Story Editor on "Rap Sh*t (wt)," Host of Crooked Media Podcast "Keep It") will play "Shawna," an aspiring rapper that hasn't seen success and continues to work her day job at a touristy hotel.

· KaMillion (Rapper/Singer of "Twerk 4 Me," "Love & Hip Hop Miami") will play "Mia," a makeup artist and estranged friend of Shawna's. She is a single mother to a four-year-old daughter and works three jobs.

· Jonica Booth ("Bad Girls Club") will play "Chastity." Chastity is a "sex work manager" and refers to herself as the "Duke of Miami."

· Sadé Clacken Joseph (short films "Ponyboi," "Finding Phoebe," "Knight") will direct the pilot.

· Credits: RAP SH*T (wt) will be executive produced by Issa Rae (HBO's "Insecure," "A Black Lady Sketch Show") and Montrel McKay ("A Black Lady Sketch Show," "Road Trippp") for HOORAE, as well as Jonathan Berry ("Insecure") and Dave Becky ("Master of None," "Russian Dolls") for 3 Arts Entertainment, along with showrunner Syreeta Singleton ("Insecure," "Central Park"), with Rae also writing the pilot. Hip hop duo Yung Miami and JT of City Girls serve as co-executive producers, along with Kevin "Coach K" Lee and Pierre "P" Thomas for Quality Control Films and Sara Rastogi for HOORAE. Sadé Clacken Joseph will direct the pilot. Rae's audio content company Raedio will handle music supervision for the series.

· Bios and Representative Information:

· Aida Osman currently serves as executive story editor on "Rap Sh*t" (wt) in addition to starring in the series. Prior to that she was a story editor for HBO's "Betty" and a writer on Netflix's "Big Mouth." Osman also co-hosts the incredibly popular Crooked Media podcast "Keep It," alongside Louis Virtel and Ira Madison III. Osman is represented by Mosaic, WME, and Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz.

· Rapper and singer KaMillion is a Jacksonville native. Besides writing for herself, KaMillion has also penned for high-profile artists like H.E.R, whose album she penned on won a Grammy(R) Award. KaMillion's release of "Twerk 4 Me" was certified viral with over one billion hits in the span of six months on TikTok and other social media. Her hit single had over 300 spins on P1 radio in cities including Jacksonville 93.3 The Beat, Power 106, Montgomery 97.9, New York's Hot 97, Anchorage's Magic 98.9, Tampa's 95.7, Detroit's Hot 107.5 and many more. KaMillion has completed two solo tours, touching over 70 cities nationally and internationally, and is currently planning her third leg - all as an independent artist. KaMillion is keeping her momentum going with her follow up single "Fine Azz," which is the opening theme song of HBO's "A Black Lady Sketch Show" season two. She was honored with the opportunity to open the 2019 BET Awards alongside Lil Duval and Tom G performing their hit single "City Boy Remix." In 2020, she appeared in VH1's "Love & Hip Hop Miami" season three. In 2021, KaMillion released her first EP entitled "Toxic" which had half a million streams the first week of its debut. · Jonica Booth was a regular cast member during Season 12 of Oxygen's "Bad Girls Club," where she began pursuing a career as a comedian. Originally from St. Louis, Booth has honed her comedic talent by performing numerous routines at The Laugh Factory, The Comedy Store, The Improv and Flappers. Booth is represented by Cheryl Martin and Lori Kay at CMA Entertainment and Raymond Tambe at Ziffren Brittenham.

· Sadé Clacken Joseph is a Caribbean-American filmmaker, photographer, and singer from the Bronx. She is an awardee of the Ryan Murphy HALF Foundation, USC Director's Guild of America John Frankenheimer Fellowship and Inaugural 30 Under 30 Caribbean-American Emerging Leader and Change Maker Award for which she was honored at Obama's White House. Her film "Knight" was the first narrative film produced by Spotify via their Black Girl Magic platform. Her documentary work on Common's Hope and Redemption Prison Tour has been featured on VICE, Variety, and Rolling Stone. Her latest short film "Ponyboi" premiered at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival where it was named one of the "Five Not to be Missed Short Films" by Forbes. Her most recent commercial work includes Madewell's Spring 2021 campaign with Issa Rae, Target's Black Beyond Measure Campaign and the music video for Common's "Show Me That You Love." Joseph is represented by Jelani Johnson at M88, PRETTYBIRD and Anita Surendran at Granderson Des Rochers, LLP.
