BILLIONS (Showtime) - Emmy nominee Janeane Garofalo has signed on for a recurring role on the series as Winslow, "the hip owner of a legal cannabis corp." (Deadline.com)
FANTASY ISLAND (FOX) - Bellamy Young will drop by the reboot series as Christine Collins, "described as a host with a simple fantasy. She wants to eat. And eat. And eat. But when Christine gets to 'Fantasy Island' she'll realize that she's hungry for much more than food." (Variety.com)
FROM SCRATCH (Netflix) - The Zoe Saldana-led drama has cast Terrell Carter as Ken, "Zora's (Danielle Deadwyler) boyfriend and former NFL player who runs the athletics department at the private school where Zora teaches"; Medalion Rahimi as Laila, "a talented artist who meets Amy (Saldana) via the art community"; Jonathan Del Arco as David, "a warm and friendly art professor"; Peter Mendoza as Andreas, "Lino's co-worker, who looks after newcomers"; Lorenzo Pozzan as Filippo, "one of Lino's coworkers at Vigna Vecchia in Florence"; Jonathan D. GOOD DOCTOR, THE (ABC) - Creator David Shore has extened his overall deal with Sony Pictures Television by four years in a pact valued in the eight-figure range. There he'll continue on the ABC drama as well as develop new series projects via his Shore Z Productions banner. (Deadline.com)
JOE PICKETT (Spectrum) - Chad Rook has booked a recurring role on the series, based on C.J. Box's bestselling novels, as Deputy McLanahan. (Deadline.com)

SHOOT THE MOON (Amazon, New!) - Ken Jeong is set to star in a half-hour dramedy at the streamer about Michael (Jeong), "a son of Korean immigrants who has achieved the American Dream and suddenly finds it illusory when his marriage and career fall apart, propelling him on a quest to reevaluate and rebuild his life." 3AD's Daniel Dae Kim and John Cheng will executive produce for Amazon Studios alongside Jeong. No writer was indicated for the project, which is inspired by the "life failures" of Paul Bae. (Deadline.com)
SUCCESSION (HBO) - Oscar winner Adrien Brody has signed onto the show's third season as Josh Aaronson, "a billionaire activist investor who becomes pivotal in the battle for the ownership of Waystar." (Deadline.com)
UNITED STATES OF AL (CBS) - Brian Thomas Smith has been cast in the newcomer as Freddy, "the new boyfriend of Riley's ex, Vanessa (Kelli Goss). Freddy is an aggressively friendly guy who rubs Riley the wrong way." (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED CJ ENM PROJECT (HBO Max, New!) - The streamer has commissioned a new competition series from Korean media firm CJ ENM and Endemol Shine Boomdog in which "a group of young men from Latin America audition for an opportunity of a lifetime to fly to Korea to train under the K-pop secretive star-making system to launch the first K-pop coached Latin American super group. Throughout the music competition show, contestants are tested with challenges designed to not only evaluate their individual abilities, but to help them come together as a diverse, yet unified boy band, ready to debut on the world's stage." Richard Jun, Harry HK Shin, Young Ju Ok, Jake Hong, Alejandro Rincon and Alvaro Godoy are the executive producers. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED NABERS & PENNY PROJECT (HBO, New!) - Prentice Penny and Janine Nabers are set to team for a new comedy at the pay channel in which "convicted felon T.R. "The Brick" Johnson who once was one of America's most beloved athletes, grovels at the feet of America and charms his way back into our hearts."
