Chicken Soup For The Soul Entertainment's Landmark Studio Group Partners with Comedian Elon Gold for New Comedy Show... .Sort Of; "It's Not A Show with Elon Gold," for Crackle Plus

Featuring A-List Celebrity Guests Including Tiffany Haddish, Bill Burr, Howie Mandel, Jeff Garlin, Jim Gaffigan, Nikki Glaser, Jay Leno, Amanda Peet, Bob Saget, Jeff Ross, Russell Peters, and More

Landmark Studio Group "Landmark" (Willy's Wonderland, Safehaven, Trigger Point), a Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment, Inc. (Nasdaq:CSSE) company, has partnered with comedian Elon Gold, who has created the original comedy series, It's Not A Show with Elon Gold, to stream on the Crackle Plus VOD platform.

Gold has starred in numerous network series (FOX's Stacked, NBC's In-Laws), he has guest-starred on several high-profile series (HBO's Crashing, NBC's Frasier), he starred in his own one-hour stand-up special (Elon Gold: Chosen and Taken) on Netflix and he has appeared on The Tonight Show and The Late Late Show with James Corden. Gold recently filmed a recurring role for the upcoming 11th season of HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm, premiering this fall.

Elon was completely out of ideas during the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic until his household doubled overnight from six (wife and four kids) to 12, including his octogenarian parents, his sister-in-law and brother-in-law and their two kids, who all showed up in LA in March and never left. Off the road for the first time in 25 years, Gold converted his back office into a studio and began to call his comedy colleagues to commiserate about their situation. What started as simply catching up with old friends quickly developed into brilliant conversations about comedy, life, success and disappointments.

The pilot episode is slated to premiere on Crackle Plus this summer with additional episodes currently in development. Bob Maurer (original MTV's The Tom Green Show, TLC's Project Dad) serves as series showrunner and Executive Producer with Scott Weinstock, Willie Mercer (HBO's Emmy-nominated Believer, Universal Pictures' upcoming Marry Me), Gold and Landmark's David Ozer and Tim Rouhana serving as Executive Producers. Gold is managed by Thruline Entertainment.

Elon Gold commented, "It was the unique circumstances of 2020 that created a housing situation that forced me to... leave my house. Luckily I have a detached back office where I hid for months on end from my family and caught up with old friends, like Jim Gaffigan who I hadn't spoken to in years. It was a time of great creative inspiration, as well as starvation, since my back office doesn't have a kitchen. I am thrilled to work with Landmark, Bob and Scott to bring my not-show to a wider audience, and by wider, I mean fatter."

"For over 25 years, Elon has been respected and loved in the comedy world with many of his classic comedy bits having gone viral around the world," said Landmark's CEO David Ozer. "It's Not A Show with Elon Gold will deliver a fresh take on the talk show format for Crackle Plus fans that will provide an intimate peek into the lives of renowned comedians and entertainers."
