GOOD DOCTOR, THE (ABC) - Osvaldo Benavides is joining the cast of the new season as Mateo Rendón Osma, "an incredibly skilled trauma surgeon, who has spent many years working in Guatemala for a Doctors-Without-Borders type of organization. But Mateo hasn't always been a hero; some rash actions during his residency will be back to haunt him and could complicate things." Additionally, co-star Antonia Thomas has confirmed her exit as Claire Browne following tonight's season finale. (Deadline.com)
GOSSIP GIRL (HBO Max) - Megan Ferguson has scored a yet-to-be-revealed role on the upcoming reboot series. (THR.com)
NEIGHBORHOOD, THE (CBS) - Meg DeLoatch has been tapped as the new showrunner of the series, succeeding creator Jim Reynolds. (Deadline.com)
OFFER, THE (Paramount+) - Matthew Goode has been cast as Robert Evans in the streamer's limited series about Oscar-winning producer Albert S. Ruddy's (Miles Teller) experiences of making the iconic 1972 film "The Godfather." Evans "oversaw the studio during the films production and gave the sign-off in green-lighting the pic." STAIRCASE, THE (HBO Max) - Odessa Young is the latest to score a role on the limited series as Martha Ratliff, "one of Michael Peterson's adopted daughters." (Deadline.com)
WU-TANG: AN AMERICAN SAGA (Hulu) - Curtiss Cook, Jr. and Gbenga Akinnagbe are both bound for the new season of the series. The former will play Mathematics, "hip hop producer & DJ for the clan, as well as the artist behind the famous Wu-Tang logo." And the latter is Mook, "first head manager of the Wu-Tang Clan. Retired from the streets, Mook now works as a bus driver to take care of his family. A wise, practical and dependable man who can think and act under pressure, his former life has left him with a skill set that makes him an unusual but potent problem solver." (Deadline.com)
