SPECTRUM ORIGINALS UNCOVERS THE MYSTERY OF "EDEN" WHEN THE SERIES PREMIERES ON JULY 12

ENTER THE WORLD OF EDEN HERE

Los Angeles, Calif. (June 16, 2021) - Spectrum Originals transports viewers to an Eden of dazzling Australian beaches and lush forests, but all is not as it seems. A young woman's secrets threaten to expose the darkness lurking just beneath the idyllic surface. Produced by Every Cloud Productions and Balloon Entertainment in association with All3Media International, all eight episodes of EDEN will drop exclusively to Spectrum video subscribers free On Demand (and without ads) on Monday, July 12.

As each episode unfolds from a different character's perspective, EDEN explores a multi-generational tale of events that happen before, during and after a young woman goes missing one warm, summer night. The small beach community's long buried dark secrets of love, lust, dashed dreams and power struggles are dragged wide open as the truth is revealed - a truth that will shake the town and the people (who survive) forever.

Featuring a young, up-and-coming cast, EDEN was shot in and around the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales and is led by BeBe Bettencourt (The Dry) and Sophie Wilde (Bird), alongside stars Keiynan Lonsdale (The Flash), Cody Fern (American Horror Story), Samuel Johnson (Molly) and Christopher James Baker (True Detective). Additional cast includes Rachael Blake (Cleverman), Leeanna Walsman (Penguin Bloom), Simon Lyndon (Mystery Road) and Maggie Kirkpatrick (Sando, The Letdown).

Created By Vanessa Gazy, in collaboration with Every Cloud Productions' Fiona Eagger and Deb Cox and Balloon Entertainment's Bryan Elsley, the series is produced by Fiona McConaghy (The Gloaming) and directed by John Curran (Bloom), Mirrah Foulkes (Judy & Punch) and Peter Andrikidis (Janet King). All eight episodes of the series are shot by award-winning cinematographer Geoffrey Hall (Bloom). The series, an Every Cloud and Balloon Entertainment production for STAN, received major production investment from Screen Australia in association with Screen NSW and was financed with support from All3Media International who is also the global partner on the series.
