DOLLS, THE/ENJOY YOUR MEAL (HBO/HBO Max) - Amy Aniobi has renewed her overall deal with HBO and HBO Max, which will now include her own production banner SuperSpecial. (Deadline.com)
NO GOOD DEED (ABC, New!) - Writer Jeannine Renshaw and director Nzingha Stewart are set to team for a potential drama at the Alphabet which "follows a warm-hearted botany professor with a dark secret who welcomes a troubled student into her home, only the seeming victim turns out to be a deadly parasite who uses her wiles and charms on vulnerable friends and family, unearthing secrets in this small mountain town, and destroying lives in order to cement her own twisted bond with her professor." ChangeUp Productions' Justin Hartley will also executive produce for 20th Television with Julianna LaRosa producing. A penalty is attached. (Deadline.com)
THREE WOMEN (Showtime) - Jason Ralph, Blair Redford and Jess Gabor will all recur on the Lisa Taddeo adaptation. Ralph's Aaron Knodel is "a teacher in North Dakota whose presence in his student Maggie's (Gabrielle Creevey) world changes the course of her life"; while Redford plays Will, "the alluring oyster farmer who threatens to upend the perfect world of Sloane (DeWanda Wise)"; and Gabor is Billie, "Maggie's spunky, loyal best friend, and one of her only supporters in the community that turns on her." UNDER THE BANNER OF HEAVEN (FX) - Isabel Sandoval is set to helm an upcoming episode of the series, which is based on the Jon Krakauer novel of the same name. (Variety.com)
