AGT: EXTREME (NBC) - The network expects the spin-off series to be ready for midseason despite filming being shut down "after stuntman Jonathan Goodwin was crushed between two cars in a daredevil stunt that went wrong." (Deadline.com)
ANNIE LIVE! (NBC) - Megan Hilty has been tapped to play Lily St. Regis on the project as original cast member Jane Krakowski is "experiencing a breakthrough Covid case while working on a separate project in Ireland despite being double vaccinated, a regular testing process and abiding by protocols." (Deadline.com)
CHICAGO FIRE (NBC) - Andrea Newman has been promoted to co-showrunner of the veteran drama where she'll serve alongside co-creator Derek Haas. Newman likewise has an overall deal with producer Universal Television. (Deadline.com)
CITY ON A HILL (Showtime) - Corbin Bersen, Joanne Kelly and Ernie Hudson will recur on the upcoming third season. Bernsen will play Sinclair Dryden, "an old money Beacon Hill socialite and former outstanding FBI agent who has been a mentor to Jackie - but underneath the charm and charisma is a darker disposition." Kelly then is Letitia, "the strong-willed wife of Sinclair who commands of a sharp sense of humor." And Hudson is Franklin Ward, "the widowed father of Decourcy." Additionally, Mark Ryder will return as Diarmuid Doyle, who is "on a sabbatical from the priesthood after a crisis of faith." (Deadline.com)
GRAYMAIL (Netflix) - The Noah Centineo-led CIA thriller has cast Aarti Mann as Violet; Daniel Quincy Annoh as Terence; Vondie Curtis Hall as Walter Nyland; Kristian Bruun as Janus Ferber; Laura Haddock as Max; Colton Dunn as Lester; and Fivel Stewart as Hannah; with Byron Mann guest starring as Xander; Angel Parker; Linus Roache as Senator Smoot; and Kaylah Zander as Amelia. No other character details were given. Alexi Hawley, Doug Liman, Gene Klein, David Bartis, Adam Ciralsky and Charlie Ebersol are the executive producers for Entertainment One and Hypnotic. LAST THING HE TOLD ME, THE (Apple TV+) - Jennifer Garner is set to star in and executive produce the limited series based on Laura Dave's novel of the same name. She replaces Julia Roberts, who originally was set to star but had to pull out over a scheduling issue. (Deadline.com)
NIGHT COURT (NBC) - The network has confirmed the reboot series won't air until the 2022-23 season. (Deadline.com)
