ADULTS ADOPTING ADULTS (A&E) - The cable channel has nixed the reality series after three episodes. (Variety.com)
DARK WINDS (AMC+) - Deanna Allison has been cast in the Western noir thriller series as Emma, "a strong woman with good intuition who works as a midwife. She is Leaphorn's (Zahn McClarnon) wife and deeply connected to her work and to the women she serves. When she suspects that one of her patients is a victim of domestic violence, she immediately asks her husband to investigate." (Deadline.com)
DISCLAIMER (Apple TV+) - Oscar nominee Sacha Baron Cohen is in talks to join Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline in the streamer's series adaptation of the Renee Knight novel. Baron Cohen's role is being kept under wraps. (Deadline.com)
GREASE: RISE OF THE PINK LADIES (Paramount+) - The prequel series has cast Charlotte Kavanagh as Rosemary; Josette Halpert as Dot; Nicholas McDonough as Gil; Maximo Weber Salas as Shy Guy; and Alexis Sides as Potato. No other details about their roles were given. Chris McNally has also been confirmed as recurring as Mr. Daniels. (Deadline.com)
IMMIGRANT (Hulu) - Dan Stevens has been added to the limited series as Paul Snider: "A hustler and serial schmoozer, Paul Snider stumbles upon the opportunity of a lifetime in the form of Steve Banerjee (Kumail Nanjiani) and his struggling LA backgammon club. Through their unlikely partnership, the iconic male stripping institution Chippendales is born." (Deadline.com)
L.A. LAW (ABC) - Kacey Rohl is the latest bound for the revival series pilot as Sonia Layton, "a social justice warrior who works as the office administrator at McKenzie Brackman - but probably has as sharp a legal mind as any of the attorneys on staff." (Deadline.com)
STAR TREK: DISCOVERY (Paramount+) - Director/executive producer Olatunde Osunsanmi has signed a multi-year overall deal with CBS Studios. There he'll develop new series projects via his Silent Storm Productions banner alongside his wife Lorna Clarke Osunsanmi. (Deadline.com)
UNPLANNED IN AKRON (CBS) - Schuyler Helford's multi-camera comedy has been ordered to pilot by the Eye: "Unplanned In Akron is a series about two teenagers navigating parenthood in the best way they know how. With a little help from their friends and parents, they'll learn that mistakes in life don't have to derail your life - they will learn that no matter what age you are, taking care of a child is no joke - but sometimes, you just gotta laugh (or cry) your way through it." Emily R. Wilson, Samie Kim Falvey, Erik Feig, Chris Mills and Chris Emerson are executive producing for Picturestart, Authentic Talent and Literary and CBS Studios.
