USA NETWORK PARTNERS WITH BUDDIES BLAKE SHELTON AND CARSON DALY TO STAR IN AND EXECUTIVE PRODUCE WILD AND CRAZY NEW CELEBRITY GAME SHOW "BARMAGEDDON," HOSTED BY NIKKI BELLA

Superstar Duo Invites Audience Into Nashville's Ole Red for a Front Row Seat as Celebrity Friends Compete in Over-the-Top Bar Games

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - May 5, 2022 - USA Network goes all in on a good time, joining forces with Blake Shelton and Carson Daly to star in and executive produce the exciting celebrity game show you never knew you needed, "Barmageddon," hosted by Nikki Bella.

Longtime friends Shelton and Daly head to Nashville and open the doors to Blake's bar, Ole Red, and everyone is invited to join their party. With Daly behind the bar and Shelton taking the stage with his house band for live music sing-alongs in front of a rowdy crowd, both the icons and celebrity favorites show a new side to themselves in this anything but ordinary game show. No stranger to competition and sheer domination herself, WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella heats up the party and sets the stakes as celebrity friends go head-to-head in a series of classic bar games with a fun twist, including Air Cannon Cornhole, Keg Curling, Drunken Axe Hole, Sharts ("Shelton Darts") and many more. The games are bigger, the antics are louder, and the competition is ludicrous in the best way.

In each episode, two celebrities will play a unique set of five games in the bar to win a much-needed prize for a viral Internet sensation each has chosen to support. Plucked from obscurity following their epic misadventures on the Internet, these now-infamous stars find themselves at Ole Red hoping to be redeemed. The competition heats up when the losing rival of each round has a chance to even the score by spinning the Wheel of Redemption, a risky move with hilarious consequences. Shelton and Daly will offer words of encouragement - and heckling, of course - to their celebrity friends. On occasion, they might even step in to show off their skills and play a game or two. Ultimately, the winning team takes home a prize while the losing celebrity must accept the shame of defeat. But this is Barmageddon - even if they did not win, at least they had a ton of fun trying.

"Nashville is known for great music and hospitality, which makes it the perfect setting," Shelton said. "I'm excited about 'Barmageddon' and can't wait for friends, old and new, to join my buddy Carson and me for some drinks, music and high-spirited fun at Ole Red."

"Blake, Lee and I wanted to create a show where the audience can feel like they're hanging out with us at Ole Red in Nashville, having a drink and cheering on friends as they compete in the ultimate test of athleticism and endurance - bar games!" Daly said.

"Barmageddon" is produced by White Label Productions and JLP Pictures for USA with Blake Shelton, Carson Daly, Lee Metzger, and White Label's Chris Wagner serving as executive producers.

ABOUT BLAKE SHELTON

Country Music Superstar and Grand Ole Opry member Blake Shelton continues to add to his superstar status with the deluxe version of his new album "Body Language," that was released late last year and featured four new tracks, including his most recent Top Ten single "Come Back as a Country Boy." The album's flagship release, "Happy Anywhere" (featuring Gwen Stefani), topped the Country Digital Song Sales chart and marked his 28th country radio chart-topper. Prior to "Happy Anywhere" Shelton celebrated a platinum-selling, multi-week No. 1 with "Nobody but You," which has now surpassed 270 million streams. The single made its TV debut on the 62nd Grammy Awards, where Shelton was also nominated for Best Country Solo Performance for his hit "God's Country." The 4x-platinum smash earned the 2019 CMA Award and 2020 ACM Award for Single of the Year. As his awards approach the hundreds, Shelton remains a force in the industry with ACM (5), AMA (3), CMA (10), CMT (11) and People's Choice Awards (6) wins, among many others. As a coach for the Emmy Award-winning NBC series "The Voice," Shelton is an eight-time champion, most recently with his contestant Cam Anthony. The Grand Ole Opry member also remains focused on his Ole Red partnership with Ryman Hospitality, with locations currently in Tishomingo, Nashville, Gatlinburg and Orlando. A noted humanitarian, Shelton has helped raise millions of dollars for children's hospitals, disaster relief organizations, food banks and more in his home state of Oklahoma and throughout the entire country.

ABOUT CARSON DALY

Carson Daly is a pioneer of pop culture across a multitude of media, including network television, radio, the recording industry and digital. He is currently the host and a producer on NBC's Emmy Award-winning series "The Voice," which recently celebrated 500 episodes and 21 seasons. Daly joined NBC News' "TODAY" in 2013 and is the host of the show's "Pop Start" segment. Daly's exclusive interviews have made headlines, including his conversations with Logic, Kevin Love, Sean Combs and Fleetwood Mac, where the band announced their reunion. He continues to shine a light on mental health and many mornings can be found in the on-air kitchen with wife Siri, cooking up their favorite recipes. On the radio, Daly hosts the syndicated weekly music countdown show "The Daly Download" for Audacy.

ABOUT NIKKI BELLA

If there's a barrier to be broken or an accolade to be earned, Nikki Bella has done it, and done it with style. Bella is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, executive producer, New York Times best-selling author, motivational speaker, WWE Hall of Fame inductee and longest-reigning Divas champion. Nikki starred on E!'s hit reality show "Total Divas" in addition to starring and executive producing "Total Bellas" along with her twin sister Brie. Nikki and Brie currently host "The Bellas" podcast on SiriusXM's Stitcher. Bella was recently seen as judge on NBC's "America's Got Talent Extreme: alongside Simon Cowell and Travis Pastrana. She is also best-selling author. Her memoir with sister Brie, "Incomprable," debuted on the New York Times bestseller list as well as USA Today, Wall Street Journal and Publishers Weekly. Bella continues to grow her empire with Bonita Bonita wine and as an investor and collaborator for Colugo. A self-admitted "tomboy" with a feminine side, Bella originally planned to play professional soccer until a leg injury ended her career. From there, she followed Brie's lead into WWE. Unsuccessful in seizing spots in the 2006 WWE Raw Diva search, the Bellas caught the eyes of execs and soon landed in FCW. Training for the competition they'd soon crush, Nikki and Brie made their way onto the main roster in 2008 and turned heads whenever they set foot inside the ring. With a dash of "Twin Magic," Nikki and Brie stirred up WWE, culminating with a Divas Title reign apiece in 2011 and 2012. But after a brief sabbatical from WWE, the sisters began an astonishing reinvention, with Nikki cementing herself as the division's mean girl powerhouse and earning a Divas Title reign that lasted a record setting 301 days. Nikki became a pivotal member of the SmackDown LIVE roster, continuously testing the limits of competition in a complete and totally fearless fashion. Nikki was inducted into the 2020 WWE Hall of Fame along with her sister Brie.
