ALYSSA JIRRELS, TOBY HUSS, RENO WILSON AND BRIAN GOODMAN JOIN PARAMOUNT+ ORIGINAL SERIES "FATAL ATTRACTION"

Jirrels, Huss, Wilson and Goodman Join Previously Announced Cast Members Lizzy Caplan, Joshua Jackson and Amanda Peet

From Paramount Television Studios and Amblin Television, New Series Reimagines the Classic Psychosexual Thriller

June 23, 2022 - Paramount+ today announced Alyssa Jirrels, Toby Huss, Reno Wilson and Brian Goodman will join the cast of the service's upcoming original series FATAL ATTRACTION, from Paramount Television Studios and Amblin Television. FATAL ATTRACTION also stars previously announced cast Lizzy Caplan ("Castle Rock," "Masters of Sex") as Alex Forrest, Joshua Jackson ("Dr. Death") as Dan Gallagher, and Amanda Peet as Beth Gallagher.

Alyssa Jirrels will star as Ellen Gallagher, Dan and Beth's daughter. In addition to FATAL ATTRACTION, Jirrels will next appear in the limited series "Boo Bitch," opposite Lana Condor and produced by Lauren Iungerich. She recently played a recurring role on Jason Katims' series "As We See It," and on the feature side, she played a lead role in "This Is the Year," directed by David Henrie and produced by Selena Gomez.

Toby Huss will play Mike Gerard, the DA's chief of investigations, whose friendship and loyalty to deputy DA Dan Gallagher goes back many years. Huss is an actor, writer and artist who can currently be seen in "Dickinson" opposite Hailee Steinfeld and "Copshop" opposite Gerard Butler. Most recently he can be seen in "The Righteous Gemstones," Jason Reitman's "The Front Runner," "Glow" and the "Halloween" reboot with Jamie Lee Curtis. He was a series regular for four seasons in the critical darling "Halt and Catch Fire." Huss can next be seen in the series "White House Plumbers" alongside Justin Theroux and Woody Harrelson, as well as "Weird: The Al Yankovic Story" opposite Daniel Radcliffe. Huss initially made a splash as the Sinatra-esque Rudy Casoni on the series "I Want My MTV," and has appeared in numerous series including "Veep," "Feud," "Sin City Saints," "King of the Hill," "Reno 911!" and more. His feature credits include "Ghostbusters," "Girlfriend's Day," "Enough Said," "Balls of Fury" and "Jerry Maguire," among others.

Reno Wilson will star as Detective Earl Booker, a long-standing member of the Los Angeles Police Department with a large personality and an inability to self-edit. Wilson made his television debut in "The Cosby Show" and has since starred or appeared in dozens of television series, including "Good Girls," "Mike and Molly," "Heist," "Blind Justice" and "The Hoop Life." He can also be seen in feature films including "Bolden," "Granddaddy Day Care," "Born a Champion." "Tyson's Run," and can next be seen in "Headshop." An accomplished voice-over artist, Wilson most notably gave voice to the Decepticon Mudflap in the blockbuster film "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," and later voiced the Autobot Brains in "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" and "Transformers: Age of Extinction." Reno was also brought back to voice Mohawk and Sqweeks in the latest installment of the series, "Transformers: The Last Knight."

Brian Goodman will star as Arthur Tomlinson - warm and kind, Arthur is Beth Gallagher's best friend and business partner. Goodman is a film and television director, writer and actor. Previously, he starred in "Rizzoli & Isles" and opposite Hugh Laurie in "Chance;" his film credits include "Munich," "Catch Me If You Can" and "The Last Castle." In addition to acting, Goodman wrote and directed the thriller "What Doesn't Kill You" starring Ethan Hawke and Mark Ruffalo, and directed "Black Butterfly" starring Antonio Banderas and Jonathan Rhys Myers.

A deep-dive reimagining of the classic psychosexual thriller and '80s cultural touchstone, the new series will explore fatal attraction and the timeless themes of marriage and infidelity through the lens of modern attitudes toward strong women, personality disorders and coercive control.

Alexandra Cunningham ("Dirty John," "Chance") serves as writer, showrunner and executive producer on the series alongside executive producer Kevin J. Hynes ("Perry Mason"), with whom Cunningham shares co-story credit, and executive producers Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey for Amblin Television. Silver Tree will also executive-produce and direct.

FATAL ATTRACTION joins Paramount+' growing lineup of original series, including 1883, EVIL, THE GAME, THE GOOD FIGHT, HALO, MAYOR OF KINGSTOWN, THE OFFER, STAR TREK: DISCOVERY, STAR TREK: PICARD, STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS and more, as well as upcoming series including GREASE: RISE OF THE PINK LADIES, TULSA KING and WOLF PACK, among others.
