LONDON, November 30, 2022 -- FOX Entertainment and writer/producer/director McG (Supernatural, Lethal Weapon, We Are Marshall) have entered a broadcast direct development deal, it was announced today by Michael Thorn, President of Entertainment, FOX Entertainment.

McG and his production company, Wonderland Sound & Vision, will develop and produce drama series for FOX, which will own and distribute the programming created under the partnership. The broadcast direct deal reunites FOX with McG, who executive produced, and directed the first two episodes of, the hit drama Lethal Weapon, which aired on the network for three seasons. He also executive produced The O.C.

"From The O.C. to Lethal Weapon, McG is an original talent who has made an indelible imprint on FOX," said Thorn. "Welcoming him and Wonderland back to the FOX team is a pleasure to announce because we know the possibilities for imaginative storytelling are limitless."

McG added, "Michael is a rare talent who understands how to tell artistically excellent stories that can be enjoyed by large audiences. This is the definition of FOX. Big, bold storytelling that is inviting to everyone."

McG has directed ten feature films and eight television pilots. His features, including CHARLIE'S ANGELS and TERMINATOR SALVATION, have grossed over $1.2 billion at the box office. In television, he directed the pilots for FASTLANE (FOX), CHUCK (NBC), THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA (NBC), SHADOWHUNTERS (FREEFORM), LETHAL WEAPON (FOX), and TURNER AND HOOCH (DISNEY+). McG is the executive producer of over 800 hours of prime-time network television, including THE O.C., SUPERNATURAL. His production company, Wonderland, is currently in production on three TV series: NOT DEAD YET (ABC), TRUE LIES (CBS), and AVERAGE JOE (BET+).

McG and Wonderland are repped by WME. Wonderland's last seven films on Netflix have all reached No. 1 on the service - HOLIDATE, LOVE HARD, TALL GIRL 1 & 2, THE BABYSITTER 1 & 2, and RIM OF THE WORLD - with the first two also ranking as the top 2 performing romcoms for the streamer.

The company is currently in post-production on its next Netflix movie, the Joey King starrer UGLIES, based on the popular book series of the same name. Wonderland also is currently in post-production on MUSICA starring Cami Mendes for Amazon. The company's executive team includes McG's longtime partner, Mary Viola, who serves as President, and EVP Corey Marsh.
