Providing the creative outlet, community and work experience that transforms students into activists, scholars and stars.
Monique Mitchell is a poet, ghostwriter and lover, and has been published by The New York Times, Cultural Weekly and various print publications across Los Angeles. Her time with Get Lit - Words Ignite taught her the power of the spoken word to birth new worlds.
