ALL AMERICAN (The CW) - Filming on the series was disrupted on Friday after an "unrelated shooting occurred in the vicinity" of one of its two Downtown Los Angeles locations. (Deadline.com)
CHIEF OF WAR (Apple TV+) - Cliff Curtis will recur on the Jason Momoa-led drama as Keōua, "the cousin of Kamehameha (played by newcomer Kaina Makua), and believes himself to be the rightful leader of Hawai'i." (Deadline.com)
COMEDOWN, THE (Starz, New!) - Gretchen Enders has sold a new drama to the pay channel based on Rafael Frumkin's book that "explores delineating lines of race, class, religion, and time, through the story of two very different Cleveland families - one Black, one white - whose lives become intertwined one fateful night when a drug deal goes dramatically wrong and a mysterious yellow briefcase disappears." Alfresco Pictures' Freddie Highmore and Claire Londy and Royal Ties Productions' Regina King and Reina King will also executive produce for TriStar Television. (Deadline.com)
ERIC (Netflix) - Gaby Hoffman, McKinley Belcher II, Dan Fogler, Phoebe Nicholls, Clarke Peters, Ivan Morris Howe, David Denman, Bamar Kane, Adepero Odyue, Alexis Molnar and Roberta Colindrez are set to star opposite Benedict Cumberbatch in the six-part series.
