BLUE BLOODS (CBS) - Larry Manetti will reunite with his original "Magnum P.I." co-star Tom Selleck in an upcoming episode. (@donniewahlberg)
CLOSURE (BET+) - Samantha Corbin-Miller's CBS drama has found a new home at the sibling streamer. Jackie McKinley and Antonia March penned the new take, "that follows the life of a homicide detective, Nicky Banks, as she juggles her detective duties with the family-owned business, The Banks Funeral Home, founded by her father, beloved Major League Baseball Hall-of-Famer, Billy Banks. Nicky struggles to balance her sibling relationships, complicated personal life, and an earnest search for her missing twin brother." The project is inspired by the life of baseball Hall-of-Famer Andre Dawson. Corbin-Miller will remain an executive producer on the project, as will Franklin Entertainment's DeVon Franklin for CBS Studios. Jenna Nicholson is a co-executive producer and Dawson a consultant. NIGHT MANAGER, THE (Amazon) - The Ink Factory's John le Carré adaptation is on track for a two-season order with Tom Hiddleston reprising his role of protagonist Jonathan Pine. Amazon will take over the U.S. rights, which originated on AMC for its 2016 freshman run. Original writer David Farr is returning for season two. (Deadline.com)
PLAYED (BET+, New!) - DeVon Franklin is attached to star in a new comedy at the streamer: "What if the life of a dysfunctional dater is punctuated by his conscience being a fully-produced talk show hosted by real-life tv personality and producer DeVon Franklin? Every time our guy is faced with one of life's many dilemmas, he finds himself on DeVon's couch." Devon Shepard penned the project and will executive produce alongside Franklin, Jesse Collins, Dionne Harmon and Andy Horne for Franklin Entertainment, Jesse Collins Entertainment and CBS Studios. Jenna Nicholson serves as co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)
TOURIST, THE (HBO Max) - Original broadcaster BBC is moving forward with a second season of the series with Jamie Dornan and Danielle Macdonald set to return. HBO Max carried the U.S. rights. (Deadline.com)
