1883: THE BASS REEVES STORY (Paramount+) - Demi Singleton is the latest addition to the David Oyelowo-led limited series as Sally, "Bass and Jennie's (Lauren E. Banks) precocious daughter." (Variety.com)
ALL AMERICAN (The CW) - Darone Okolie and Tre Hale are both slated to recur on the series. Okolie will portray Sal Dominguez, "a former high school linebacker with a past. He is a personal trainer at a gym who becomes important to Spencer James (Daniel Ezra) and Jordan Baker (Michael Evans Behling)." And Hale is set as Kai, "a potential GAU recruit chasing an old dream." (Deadline.com)
BABY REINDEER (Netflix) - Nava Mau has been cast in the Richard Gadd-led series as Teri, "the partner of Donny (Gadd), who becomes embroiled in his relationship with his stalker Martha, who will be played by Jessica Gunning." (Deadline.com)
MATLOCK (CBS) - Skye P. Marshall will star opposite Kathy Bates in the reboot series pilot as Olympia: "A formidable attorney with a thirst for justice, Olympia is a key rainmaker at New York's most prestigious law firm. Juggling work and life, she remains laser-focused and not the easiest to impress, which is apparent when she is tasked to oversee a third junior associate." (Deadline.com)
TOKYO VICE (HBO Max) - Soji Arai is the latest bound for the show's second season as Shingo, "the lover and former colleague at the Meicho of Jake's supervisor, Emi (Rinko Kikuchi). A single parent with a young son, Shingo is now an editor at a prestigious Tokyo weekly. An excellent journalist, he and Emi share a passion for the work. But as the season rolls on, their work and family lives come into conflict and Shingo and Emi are forced to make hard choices about what they value most in their lives." (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED NIC PIZZOLATTO PROJECT (Amazon, New!) - Nic Pizzolatto has landed a series commitment at the streamer: "It revolves around a former outlaw who must reckon with a threat from his past in order to keep the life and family he has worked so hard to build. He sets out on an epic journey that unites a formidable gang of indelible figures to face an even greater danger, in an epic saga of adventure and romance that forces this former criminal to become the hero he's been pretending to be."
