THE CW NETWORK NAMES BETSY SLENZAK AS VICE PRESIDENT OF UNSCRIPTED PROGRAMMING

March 30, 2023 (Burbank, CA) - The CW Network today announced Betsy Slenzak has been named Vice President of Unscripted Programming for The CW Network. In this role, Slenzak will develop and run current production on alternative reality series, events and specials for the network. She will report to Heather Olander, Head of Unscripted Programming for The CW Network.

"Betsy is a talented executive with stellar relationships within the industry and a keen eye for developing successful unscripted formats," commented Olander. Slenzak most recently served as Vice President of Entertainment Unscripted Content at NBCUniversal Television and Streaming, where she oversaw reality competition, talent competition and game show formats across the company's entertainment portfolio including NBC, Peacock, Bravo, E! and USA Network. Her purview included managing a robust development slate consisting of "Love Island" and "The Traitors," and hit series such as "American Ninja Warrior," "Frogger" and "The Courtship."

Prior to joining the NBCUniversal formats team, Slenzak worked at Peacock where she oversaw series including "John Wayne Gacy: Devil in Disguise" and "The Amber Ruffin Show." She also spent seven years at E! Entertainment where she oversaw original series including "Botched," "Chelsea Lately" and "Fashion Police."

Slenzak began her career at "Access Hollywood," USA Network, and was coordinator to Bonnie Hammer, Vice Chairman, NBCUniversal.
