In the late hours of the night, police officers often encounter strange human behavior. Comprised entirely of firsthand footage pulled directly from body cameras and CCTV (closed-circuit television) footage, the six-part series, LATE NIGHT LOCKUP, will take viewers along for a wild ride to witness all the commotion that transpires during graveyard shifts. From drunken disorderly conduct to shocking acts of aggression, witness the peculiar and outrageous happenings that law enforcement encounters as nighttime creeps into the early hours of the morning.

In New Mexico, a young man tries everything he can to keep from being arrested, but his hilarious misunderstanding of officers suggest he's had a few beers too many. Another DUI suspect tries to prove his sobriety by performing a backflip for amused officers. Then an officer finds himself in hand-to-hand combat with an irate citizen, who steals his gun and escapes the station, leading police on a high-speed chase. Back in New Mexico, an entitled young woman is pulled over after an officer spots her driving erratically. Denying she's been drinking, she belligerently condescends to her arresting officer, leading her to spend a well-deserved night in the slammer.

In Livonia, Michigan, a car is stopped at a green light, and the woman behind the wheel is fast asleep. Boxing the car in before she causes an accident, they wake her up to discover that she's drunk after attending bingo. In Statesboro, Georgia, police track a shoplifting suspect to his house. When they confront him with video evidence, he tries to make a run for it. In Athens, Georgia, officers arrest the driver of a red truck after it recklessly speeds away. He demands to be taken to the hospital, where he begins acting bizarrely.

Every day, countless minors are exploited, groomed and abused in person and online. Enter Roo Powell and her team at the nonprofit SOSA (Safe from Online Sex Abuse), who work in tandem with law enforcement to apprehend child predators by becoming the targets. As the team deploys three new underage decoys and launches the fictitious online accounts for a 15, 14 and even a 12-year-old persona, it's a race against the clock to identify the ACMs (adults contacting minors) and build a case against the alleged predators to enable law enforcement to make an arrest before the perpetrators can victimize other children.

In Wisconsin, officers cautiously approach a dangerous driver's wrecked car. Refusing to exit the vehicle, the driver suddenly opens fire on them. In Washington State, a community rallies to protect two officers shot in the line of duty.

In 2018, 33-year-old restaurant worker Joshua Webb is brutally shot dead outside an apartment block in Beckley, West Virginia.
