CITY ON FIRE (Apple TV+) - The streamer has opted not to pick up a second season of the series. (Deadline.com, 8/3)
DAILY SHOW, THE (Comedy Central) - Former correspondent Hasan Minhaj has been eyed as "a leading candidate for the open host role" according to said report. Adding, "Minhaj is not guaranteed to win the position, these people caution, and a deal is not believed to have been finalized." (Variety.com, 8/1)
DAYS OF OUR LIVES (Peacock) - Co-executive producer Albert Alarr has been fired from the series following a misconduct investigation by producer Corday Productions. Senior producer Janet Drucker will assume his duties. (Variety.com, 8/4)
LIZZO'S WATCH OUT FOR THE BIG GRRRLS (Amazon) - Lizzo has issued a statement "addressing the lawsuit leveled by three of her former touring dancers - two of whom competed on Prime Video's Watch Out for the Big Grrrls - who are suing the singer for sexual harassment, workplace hostility, assault and discrimination, among other claims." RAP SH!T (Max) - The streaming service has pushed the show's sophomore debut to Thursday, November 9 from the previously announced August 10 premiere. (Deadline.com, 8/3)
REAL HOUSEWIVES ULTIMATE GIRLS TRIP, THE (Peacock) - The streamer will roll out the "RHONY Legacy" edition of the series in December, ahead of the second installment of "Ex-Wives Club." Said move will make it the official fourth season of the series. (Variety.com, 8/2)
SUSPICION (Apple TV+) - The streaming service has likewise pulled the plug on the fellow freshman entry. (Deadline.com, 8/1)
