Tubi to Launch BBC's Coming-of-Age Series "Boarders"
The series is a high energy, warm and funny coming of age drama which follows the lives of five Black inner city school teenagers who find themselves on scholarships to one of Britain's oldest and most prestigious boarding schools, St. Gilberts.

SAN FRANCISCO, January 24, 2024 - Tubi (www.tubi.tv), Fox Corporation's ad-supported video-on-demand service, announced today it will exclusively launch the BBC British coming-of-age dramedy BOARDERS in North America in a deal with All3Media International. Written by BAFTA-nominated screenwriter Daniel Lawrence Taylor the series follows the lives of five talented Black teenagers from inner-city London as they navigate life at an elite boarding school. BOARDERS is produced by Studio Lambert in association with All3Media International for the BBC, and will make its North American debut on Tubi in the first quarter of 2024.

The series will see these students navigate a new world, forming new friendships along the way while also going on journeys of self-discovery.

BOARDERS was created and written by Daniel Lawrence Taylor, with Emma Dennis-Edwards, Yemi Oyefuwa and Ryan Calais Cameron writing episodes. The series is led by a cast of young rising talent including Josh Tedeku ("Supacell," "A Town Called Malice"), Jodie Campbell ("Bulletproof," "No Return") and Myles Kamwendo ("The School for Good and Evil"), alongside Sekou Diaby and Aruna Jalloh, both making their screen debuts. Daniel Lawrence Taylor will also appear on screen alongside Derek Riddell ("Happy Valley," "Gentleman Jack"), Niky Wardley ("Queen of Oz," "The Catherine Tate Show"), Harry Gilby ("Tolkien"), Tallulah Greive ("Our Ladies," "Cinderella"), Rosie Graham ("The School for Good and Evil," "Sanditon"), Georgina Sadler ("The A List") and Assa Kanoute, making her screen debut.

Directing the series are Ethosheia Hylton ("African Queens," "Sanditon") and Sarmad Masud ("You Don't Know Me," "Bulletproof"). Executive producers are Daniel Lawrence Taylor, and Madeleine Sinclair and Susan Hogg for Studio Lambert, and Nawfal Faizullah and Ayela Butt for the BBC.

BOARDERS will premiere on Tubi exclusively in North America and LATAM in the first quarter of 2024.
