The series, produced by UFA Fiction, achieved the highest global viewing figures of a non-American original title in a launch week in the history of Prime Video in its first week. Since its launch, the German original series has been number 1 in the Prime Video Charts in more than 120 countries and territories on Prime Video and number 3 in over 50 countries and territories including the USA, Great Britain, Australia, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and South Africa. Fans all over the world are enthusiastic about Maxton Hall - The World Between Us and awarded the series an audience rating of 95% on Rotten Tomatoes. The modern love story between James Beaufort ( Damian Hardung ) and Ruby Bell ( Harriet Herbig-Matten ) is also currently the most streamed title on Prime Video in Germany and has been number 1 in the Prime Video Charts Germany since its launch on May 9th.

Prime Video also announced today that the second season of the series has been confirmed, with Damian Hardung and Harriet Herbig-Matten returning in the lead roles as James and Ruby. The new episodes are based on the second part of the bestselling novel series Save You by author Mona Kasten and are once again produced by UFA Fiction.
