ABC News Live, ABC Radio and ABC News Digital Have Been and Will Continue To Be in Rolling Live Coverage

ABC News announced today continuing special coverage of President Biden's decision to end his bid for a second term as president of the United States. "World News Tonight" anchor and managing editor David Muir will anchor a two-hour primetime special, "Biden Stands Down: Race For The White House," on Sunday, July 21, 7:00-9:00 p.m. EDT on ABC. Muir will be joined by chief White House correspondent Mary Bruce, chief Washington correspondent and "This Week" co-anchor Jonathan Karl, chief global affairs correspondent and co-anchor of "This Week" Martha Raddatz, chief justice correspondent Pierre Thomas, senior congressional correspondent Rachel Scott, Washington, D.C. bureau chief and political director Rick Klein, senior national correspondent Terry Moran, White House correspondent Selena Wang, national correspondent Zohreen Shah, political contributor Donna Brazile, presidential historian Mark Updegrove, and executive editorial producer John Santucci.

Muir anchors a special edition of "World News Tonight," Sunday, July 21, at 6:30 p.m. EDT.

ABC News Live, the network's 24-7 live streaming network, has been in rolling coverage since President Biden announced his decision to suspend his campaign for president and will continue with live coverage throughout the evening anchored by Kayna Whitworth, and will simulcast the network's special "Biden Stands Down: Race For The White House" at 7:00-9:00 p.m. EDT. The channel will continue to provide live updates throughout the night.

ABC News Digital has comprehensive coverage including a live blog with the latest developments.

ABC News Radio offered stations three hours of live, wall-to-wall coverage following the announcement today, with correspondent Alex Stone anchoring, joined by White House correspondent Karen Travers, national correspondent Steven Portnoy and ABC political analyst Steve Roberts, among others. ABC News Radio will provide affiliates with a live simulcast of the network special from at 7:00-9:00 p.m. EDT.
