NEW YORK, NY (October 30, 2024) - Tony Award winner Joaquina Kalukango is set to star as two-time Grammy Award winning singer, songwriter and music legend Gloria Gaynor with Lance Gross (Tyler Perry's House of Payne) starring as Gloria's husband Linwood Simon in Robin Roberts Presents I Will Survive: The Gloria Gaynor Story. Gloria Gaynor, who executive produces will also write and record an original song for the authorized biopic which spans her 50-year career in the music business. A Rock'n Robin Production, the film reunites executive producer Roberts with Kalukango who also starred in Roberts' Emmy Award nominated movie music biopic, Mahalia.
