STUDIO CITY, CA - November 25, 2024 - Hallmark's fan-favorite, critically acclaimed hit series The Way Home returns for its much-anticipated Season 3 on Thursday, January 2, 2025, debuting on Hallmark+, the company's new subscription streaming service and membership rewards program, where it will be available exclusively. Series stars Andie MacDowell (Maid, Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove), Chyler Leigh (Supergirl, Grey's Anatomy), Evan Williams (Blonde, Versailles) and Sadie Laflamme-Snow (The Apprentice) all reprise their roles. Julia Tomasone (Ghostwriter) and Jordan Doww (Ganymede) join the cast as the teen versions of Del (MacDowell) and Colton (Jefferson Brown, Masters of Romance), while Devin Cecchetto (The Parker Andersons/Amelia Parker) has been cast as Teen Evelyn. The season will make its Hallmark Channel premiere in Fall 2025.

Season three picks up where season two left off - with Kat (Leigh) and her brother Jacob (Spencer Macpherson, School Spirits), who went missing more than two decades ago at the age of eight and is now an adult, poised to walk into the Landry home to an unsuspecting Del (MacDowell). Viewers will be introduced to a groovy new era when the pond transports Kat and Alice to 1974 - the year Del and Colton (Brown) first met as teens and their epic love story began. Alice is befriended by a young, spritely Evelyn Goodwin (Cecchetto) but their budding friendship complicates Alice's relationship with Del, who wants her memories of Colton to remain the way they are. Meanwhile, Kat attempts to close the door on the 1800s after making startling discoveries. In the present day she and Elliot (Williams) navigate a new chapter in their relationship, while he finds himself faced with his own complicated past.

Since its debut in 2023, The Way Home's compelling, multi-generational family drama with a fascinating time travel twist has built a loyal following among fans and has won over critics. The series' complex characters and cleverly crafted writing keeps viewers eagerly awaiting each new episode and creating their own theories about the family mysteries woven through the episodes.

"Heather Conkie, Alexandra Clarke and Marly Reed's incredible storytelling continues to amaze us," Kate Redinger, Senior Director, Programming, Hallmark Media. "Each season brilliantly builds on the one before and this season promises to be the best one yet. With the intriguing new characters they've created and riveting storylines, viewers are in for another enthralling season."

ABOUT THE WAY HOME

Season two found Kat (Leigh) traveling to 1814 in her quest to find her missing brother Jacob (Spencer Macpherson, School Spirits) and bring him home. Her time there brought new mysteries and she bridged the past and present in her attempt to finally reunite her family. In the present day, Del (MacDowell) was faced with the uncertainty of the future of Landry farm, which has been in their family since the founding days of Port Haven, while a potential new romance led her to grapple with her grief for her late husband Colton (Jefferson Brown, Masters of Romance, Slasher) and reconcile her enduring love for him with the idea of moving on to someone new. Alice (Laflamme-Snow) had her own time travel journey to the more recent past, where she got a front-row seat to her own beginnings that also brought shocking revelations. Elliot (Williams) returned to Port Haven following his travels but his relationships with both Kat and Alice were strained and in a state of flux as their time traveling brings new information and experiences that have a lasting impact on them all.

The Way Home is a Neshama Entertainment production in association with MarVista Entertainment. Executive producers are Heather Conkie, Alexandra Clarke, Fernando Szew, Hannah Pillemer, Larry Grimaldi, Ani Kevork, Arnie Zipursky, Marly Reed, Suzanne L. Berger, MacDowell and Leigh.
