Tan France Joins Onyx Collective Comedy Series 'Deli Boys' in First Scripted Guest Star Role

The series premieres March 6 on Hulu

Tan France is set to join Onyx Collective's upcoming comedy series "Deli Boys" alongside series regulars Asif Ali, Saagar Shaikh, Poorna Jagannathan, Alfie Fuller and Brian George - marking a career-first role in scripted television.

France is set as the guest star role of Zubair, a British Pakistani South London gang leader. He is smart, intimidating and dressed to kill.

SYNOPSIS: When their convenience store-magnate father suddenly dies, a pair of pampered Pakistani American brothers lose everything and are forced to reckon with their Baba's secret life of crime as they attempt to take up his mantle in the underworld.

CREDITS: The half-hour, 10-episode series was created by Abdullah Saeed and developed by Jenni Konner and Nora Silver under Jenni Konner Productions. Michelle Nader, who also serves as showrunner, is an executive producer alongside Saeed, Konner and Silver. Nisha Ganatra is executive producer and director on the pilot, with Vali Chandrasekaran as a non-writing executive producer on the pilot. The series hails from Onyx Collective and is produced by 20th Television.

Tan France

Tan France is a renowned fashion designer and television personality. He began his career behind the scenes, creating successful brands like Kingdom & State and Rachel Parcell, Inc. Tan gained international fame as the fashion expert on Netflix's EmmyⓇ-winning "Queer Eye," where he redefined style and representation alongside the Fab 5.

Beyond "Queer Eye," Tan co-hosts Netflix's design competition series "Next in Fashion" with Gigi Hadid, showcasing his design expertise and mentorship. Alongside Elaine Welteroth, he interviewed nominees and highlighted the night's top fashion, marking Netflix's first live awards show. Additionally, Tan co-hosted the Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2024 livestream with Michelle Buteau, providing viewers with candid celebrity interviews and expert fashion commentary.

Most recently, Tan launched his production company, French Tuck Media, focusing on authentic storytelling that amplifies diverse voices. From his early days secretly attending fashion school while working in his grandfather's denim factory to his rise as a global media phenomenon, Tan France continues to inspire audiences with his passion, wit and commitment to individuality.
