The 'Ugliest House' Will Receive A $150,000 Renovation By Star HGTV Designer Alison Victoria

The ugly is back with a vengeance in six new episodes of HGTV's mega hit Ugliest House in America. WHAT: Ugliest House in America

WHERE/WHEN: Season six premieres Monday, June 2, at 9 and 9:30 p.m. ET/PT on HGTV.

WHO: The ugly is back with a vengeance in six new episodes of HGTV's mega hit Ugliest House in America. After attracting 10.3 million viewers to her last season, actress, comedian and home design enthusiast Retta will discover the most extreme variety of ugly houses yet, traveling the country to tour 15 more weird, dysfunctional and downright disastrous homes nominated by their owners. She'll share her hilarious hot takes of the stunningly bad designs, cringe-worthy layouts and sorely outdated styles. Based on its ugly appearance, poor functionality and most surprising feature, one house will be crowned the "ugliest house in America" by HGTV, and the network will award its owners a showstopping $150,000 renovation completed by designer Alison Victoria, one of its top stars, during a special one-hour finale episode.

During the 9 p.m. season premiere, Retta will tour the first three ugly gems in the Midwest, including a concrete cave better suited for children than adults, a former bank with a bathroom built in the safe and an outdated brick house that looks like a pizza place. At 9:30 p.m., she'll head to the Great Lakes region, offering her unfiltered reactions to a boat that doesn't float, a home with carpet up the walls and a property easily mistaken as a UFO.

Ugliest House in America is produced by Big Fish Entertainment.
