Netflix will release Death Inc. seasons 1, 2 and 3

Netflix has announced today the global premiere of the first two seasons of Death Inc., the funeral comedy created by Alberto and Laura Caballero (Machos Alfa, La que se avecina), which will be available starting July 31. The third season will premiere exclusively on Netflix worldwide on August 21.

Death Inc. is a comedy centered around a family-run funeral home and the relationships between the eccentric characters who inhabit it. Carlos Areces (Superestar,La que se avecina) leads the cast, which also features Ascen López (Machos Alfa), Salva Reina (El 47, Legado), Aitziber Garmendia (Machos Alfa), Adriana Torrebejano (Cristo y Rey), Diego Martín (Legado), Gerard B. Fillmore (Reyes de la noche), Amaia Salamanca (Bienvenidos a Edén), Roque Ruiz (El pueblo), Lorea Intxausti (Go!aze') y Manolo Cal (Cuéntame cómo pasó).

The series is produced by Contubernio Films, directed by Laura Caballero, and written by Alberto Caballero, Daniel Deorador, Julián Sastre, and Nando Abad.

Synopsis:

When Gonzalo Torregrosa, owner and founder of Funeraria Torregrosa, passes away, Dámaso Carrillo - his right-hand man - has no doubt that the best way to ensure the business's future is for him to take over. But, against all odds, Gonzalo's seventy-something widow, Nieves, decides to take charge of the family funeral home, with the help of her clueless yet enthusiastic son-in-law Chemi, a marketing "expert" - and in direct opposition to her daughters' plans to shut everything down and open a gym. While Dámaso schemes and manipulates his colleagues against the new leadership, the company will face stiff competition from rival funeral home Transitus and its aggressive expansion strategy - as well as a #MeToo-style scandal that threatens the legacy of Gonzalo Torregrosa.

The production company is currently wrapping up filming the 16th season of La que se avecina and also has four seasons of El Pueblo and three seasons of Machos Alfa, confirming its position as a benchmark in comedy production in this country.
