New York, NY - July 21, 2025 - On the heels of a franchise-record 12 Emmy(R) nominations and 10-year ratings high, Comedy Central's The Daily Show is adding Josh Johnson to the News Team hosting rotation with his debut tomorrow, July 22 at 11 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central. The Emmy-nominated writer, stand-up comedian and actor began his tenure with The Daily Show in 2017 as a writer before joining the acclaimed All-Star News Team in 2024. Johnson will take a seat behind the iconic desk as an additional voice to the existing powerhouse roster of News Team members including Ronny Chieng, Jordan Klepper, Michael Kosta and Desi Lydic with Troy Iwata and Grace Kuhlenschmidt.
