ADULT SWIM ANNOUNCES NEW SERIES SET IN THE "RICK AND MORTY" UNIVERSE: "PRESIDENT CURTIS" STARRING KEITH DAVID

SAN DIEGO, CA (July 25, 2025) - Adult Swim announced today a new adult animated comedy starring Emmy(R) Award-winning actor Keith David, "President Curtis." The announcement followed a surprise appearance by David during Adult Swim's "Rick and Morty" panel at San Diego Comic-Con.

In the forthcoming Adult Swim series co-created by "Rick and Morty" Executive Producers Dan Harmon and James Siciliano, David will reprise his longtime role as President Andre Curtis. Stephanie Beatriz ("Brooklyn Nine-Nine") and Jim Rash ("Community") also star.

"President Curtis has always been a blast to play," said David. "Getting to explore his world more deeply in this new series is a dream. I can't wait for fans to see what kind of chaos he stirs up when Rick isn't around to steal the spotlight."

"President Curtis" follows the Commander-in-Chief and his eccentric staff as they tackle the kind of crises that Rick Sanchez could never be bothered with - from interdimensional diplomacy to paranormal investigations and unexplained phenomena.
