'You and Everything Else' Premieres September 12 - A Story of Two Best Friends Bound by Love, Fractured by Envy

Some friendships feel like they'll last forever. But what happens when that love turns into comparison, and closeness becomes competition? Premiering September 12, You and Everything Else tells the complicated, tender story of two best friends whose lives have been tightly intertwined since they were kids. Through every chapter - hanging out in school, cheering each other on, growing quietly jealous, saying things they can't take back - we follow a friendship that's as loving as it is painful.

Starring Kim Go-eun as Ryu Eun-jung and Park Ji-hyun as Cheon Sang-yeon, the series is a notable collaboration between director Jo Young-min (Do You Like Brahms?, The Interest of Love) and writer Song Hye-jin (The Smile Has Left Your Eyes). The teaser trailer and poster have been unveiled today.

The teaser opens mid-argument: Sang-yeon throws words that cut deep, and Eun-jung doesn't hold back either. It's clear they've hurt each other before... and that they still care, maybe too much. Two childhood best friends, who've already drifted apart twice, walk a fragile line that runs through admiration, resentment, and everything in between. That's the thing about friendship: sometimes you admire your friend so much you want to be them, and other times you feel like you'll never measure up. You and Everything Else lays bare the quiet truths of some friendships in a way that's sure to resonate.

Some of the most heartbreaking lines they deliver reveal how easy it is for even the closest people to drift when feelings go unspoken. And by the end, we're left wondering: how will the story of Eun-jung and Sang-yeon ultimately end?

You and Everything Else premieres on Netflix on Friday, September 12.
