Pact Establishes Creative Exchange Between Studio and Publisher with Robust Pipeline of Adaptable IP for Film, TV, Audio, Digital, and Books
Los Angeles, CA - October 8, 2025 - FOX Entertainment Studios (FES) and HarperCollins Productions today announced a first-of-its-kind, two-way, first-look development deal between the studio and the fast-growing HarperCollins Avon A imprint. Together, the companies will create a powerful, ongoing content pipeline that flows seamlessly between book and screen. This unique alliance allows FES to develop original series, feature films, and made-for-platform movies inspired by Avon A titles, while giving Avon A the opportunity to publish adaptations based on FES originals from its rich portfolio of cross-platform stories. The result is a dynamic creative exchange designed to supercharge storytelling and extend IP across mediums in bold new ways.

Together, the companies will co-produce a slate of projects with HarperCollins Productions executives, led by Caroline Fraser and Jennifer Contrucci, serving as non-writing producers to ensure creative continuity from page to screen. Notably, FOX and HarperCollins are also pioneering new models of collaboration, such as developing series in tandem with the release of companion books, ensuring cross-platform storytelling momentum from the outset.
This announcement marks the first publishing/entertainment partnership of its kind for FOX Entertainment Studios and HarperCollins, establishing a long-term, mutually beneficial creative alliance focused on building an adaptable, enduring library of cross-platform IP.
