São Paulo, November 18, 2025. Family intrigue, manipulation, twists and turns. Get ready for Netflix's breathtaking new series, where nothing is as it seems. Starring Marieta Severo, Alice Wegmann, Nanda Costa, and José de Abreu, the as-yet-untitled production began filming in Rio de Janeiro this week, under the direction of Mauro Mendonça Filho.

Gripping and full of tension, the story - blending elements of melodrama and thriller - follows Lúcia (Marieta Severo) and Maíra (Alice Wegmann), a mother and daughter from Rio's elite who share a complex and turbulent relationship. When their paths cross with Irina (Nanda Costa) and Bóris (José de Abreu), the web of secrets, betrayals, and mysteries grows even more intense.

The production is by Conspiração, with associate production by Amaia, and was created by Diane Maia and Mirna Nogueira, who also serves as head writer. Produced by Renata Brandão, Luísa Barbosa, and Tania Pacheco, the series is directed by Gabriela Amaral Almeida and Daniela Carvalho. The cast also includes Felipe Camargo, Luciana Paes, Laila Garin, Rui Ricardo Diaz, Heloisa Jorge, Allan Souza Lima, Jonas Bloch, Giovanna de Jesus, José Mata, Thiago Justino, Hamilton Dias, Laura Vick, Yanna Lavigne, and Rosanna Viegas.
