Los Angeles, CA - December 9, 2025 - BET+ announced today the upcoming premiere of the BET+ Original film A SOULFUL CHRISTMAS. The film will stream exclusively on BET+ on Thursday, December 25.
In A SOULFUL CHRISTMAS, when the children of two feuding musical legends are forced to collaborate on a holiday song remake, their rivalry turns into an unexpected romance. But with family legacies, unresolved grudges, and a ticking Christmas Eve deadline, they must learn to harmonize on and off the stage before the past repeats itself.
The film features an ensemble cast, including Kaci Walfall as "Winnie Young," Myles Truitt as "Robert Franklin," Shanice as "Patti Young," Kenny Lattimore as "Ashton Franklin," Taylor Symone as "Bailey Gates," E. A SOULFUL CHRISTMAS is led by created, directed, and written by Cas Sigers, with Executive Producers Ty Johnston-Chavis and Errol Sadler. The score is composed by Jamie Coleman, with original music performed by Kenny Lattimore and Shanice.
