Sport vs. Money with Simon Jordan - Inside football's billion-dollar power play

Exclusive U.S. Premiere

Thursday, January 8

*English language

With unprecedented access and sharp insight, Sport vs. Money explores the high-stakes collision between sport and business - and asks: who really owns the game now? Across four episodes, Simon Jordan - the Premier League's youngest-ever owner and now an award-winning broadcaster - travels the globe to explore how decisions made by football's top executives in the early 1990s set in motion a transformation that has turned the world's most beloved sport into a global entertainment industry.

From London to Miami, Turin to New York, Jordan meets the people who have driven and defined this shift - including club owners, CEOs, FIFA executives, agents and former players - to uncover how community-rooted clubs became billion-dollar assets, how players became global brands, and how the game's future is being shaped behind closed doors.

Featured contributors include Arsene Wenger (FIFA), the man behind the revamped Club World Cup, and Andrea Agnelli (ex-Juventus), one of the architects of the controversial Super League proposal, as well as David Gill (Manchester United), Daniel Levy (Tottenham Hotspur), Freddie Ljungberg (Arsenal & Seattle Sounders), Rick Parry (Premier League), Lord Sugar (Tottenham Hotspur), and executives from Inter Miami, MLS, NFL and more

The Curse - Dramedy Feature Film

Exclusive U.S. Premiere

Thursday, January 22

Two sisters plagued by relentless misfortune discover a family curse and embark on a comical quest to end it, even if it means outwitting their cursed yet cunning aunt.

Sisters Nastka (Vanessa Aleksander, The Office PL, Dancing with the Stars PL winner) and Monia (Agnieszka Więdłocha) are trying to live their own lives. In theory, they're thoughtful, independent, autonomous, but, in practice, their life is constantly ruled by bad luck.

Just when something is about to work, suddenly the most unexpected thing happens, ruining all their previous plans. It's a given, just like two plus two is four. Nothing good will ever happen to them. Tired, exhausted and broken, they go to the only place where they feel safe, the family home where their mum (Danuta Stenka, The Wedding) and grandma (Anna Nehrebecka) live.

Women's family evenings with a glass of wine are a respite, until grandma reveals a long-hidden secret after one glass too many. It turns out that the bad luck that haunts them is the result of the nefarious acts of great-great-great-grandfather Bogusław, who nabbed a holy picture from the pope himself. The pope put a curse on the whole family. All the way to the seventh generation. Who's the last one? On whose life does the curse end? Aunt Aniela, grandma's annoying twin sister.

The girls are in heaven, so it's not their fault, they're just cursed! What a relief. There's a chance, the bad luck can be turned! However, aunt Aniela, wicked, yet still very much alive, has to disappear...

Scenes After a Marriage - An intimate, short-form relationship drama

Exclusive U.S. Premiere

Thursday, January 29 (two episodes at launch, two episodes weekly through Feb. 19)

From acclaimed screenwriter Veronica Zacco (The Bridge, Top Dog) and featuring a stellar cast led by Ardalan Esmaili (Lockerbie with Colin Firth, The Helicopter Heist) and Eva Röse (Maria Wern, Honour, The Postcard Killings), the character-driven, short-form drama series captures the heartbreak, humor, and unpredictability of relationships in a uniquely immersive format.

Lovis (Eva Röse) and Kian (Ardalan Esmaili) have recently separated. Each time they exchange custody of their children, they meet at a roadside restaurant near the bridge connecting Sweden and Denmark. Kian, still holding on to hope, asks Lovis to wait until Christmas, three months away, before signing the divorce papers. As the series unfolds through these brief encounters, both begin to reevaluate their choices, dreams, and feelings for each other. Is it too late for a second chance?

This series strips relationships down to their core, creating an intimate and emotionally charged chamber play. With just one location, two deeply complex characters, and dialogue that oscillates between sharp humor and raw emotion, it captures the universal struggles of love, loss, and the uncertainty of divorce. The story unfolds in fleeting moments; each encounter revealing the push and pull of a couple caught between moving on and holding on. With masterful writing, world-class performances, and a strikingly simple yet powerful premise, it invites viewers to reflect on their own relationships, making it both deeply personal and universally relatable.

(Drama/Romance, 8 x 17-19 mins episodes, Swedish with English subtitles)
