Get Ready for the Most (Un)anticipated Event of the Year! 'Stranded with my Mother-in-Law: A Christmas Special' Comes to Netflix on December 17
São Paulo, December 11, 2025 - If there's one time of year when the whole family gathers together round the same table, sparking plenty of laughter (and drama), it's Christmas! As the festive, chaotic atmosphere intensifies, Netflix has a surprise for fans - Stranded with my Mother-in-Law: A Christmas Special arrives on December 17 to shake things up, just in time for the holidays. For the first time, the all-new episode will bring the six families together to recap the hit show's third season. Get ready - this Christmas dinner is going to be the talk of the town... 🎄👀
The audience will get to follow this reunion up close and see how the Chagas, Cruz, Lopes, Machado, Misquita and Rocha families have processed the fights, the in-depth conversations and the decisions made during their time together on the island in Alagoas. And, of course, they'll finally have the chance to find out what changed and what has stayed the same since shooting wrapped.
In addition to the special episode, this season also introduced a new feature - the "mother-in-law convention," an event that brought together more than 200 mothers-in-law from different regions of Brazil. After taking part in immersive experiences and activities inspired by the show's challenges, six of them were selected to become the season's protagonists.
Produced by Floresta, the third season of Stranded with my Mother-in-Law, hosted by Fernanda Souza and with Shenia Karlsson as the mediator, is now playing on Netflix.
