Los Angeles, CA - January 15, 2026 - FOX Entertainment and Fremantle are holding an Open Casting Call for the new FOX action series Baywatch, marking the return of the world's most iconic lifeguards to television. The reboot will bring new faces, new adventures and daring rescues to the sun-drenched SoCal coast. This is your chance to join the team!

The Baywatch Open Casting Call is searching for actors to fill a wide range of roles, offering aspiring talent a rare opportunity to audition for the series' casting directors.

WHAT: Baywatch Open Casting Call is seeking dynamic talent across a wide range of roles, from lifeguards and beachgoers to bartenders, buddies and love interests to rescuers and rescuees of all kinds, as well as additional characters yet to be written.*

WHO: Aspiring actors (18+) of all genders and ethnicities are invited to audition for roles including series regulars, recurring characters, and walk-ons. Performers are encouraged to arrive "Baywatch ready" with wardrobe that evokes a beach setting, while remaining polished, professional and avoiding overly revealing styles and costumes.

Baywatch is scheduled to begin shooting this March on L.A.'s famed Venice Beach and on the historic FOX Studio Lot in Century City. Set to premiere during FOX's 2026-27 season, the series is produced by Fremantle and FOX Entertainment, and executive produced by Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Dante Di Loreto, Doug Schwartz, Mike Horowitz and Matt Nix, who also serves as showrunner.

First hitting screens in 1989, Baywatch became the most-watched show in the world, airing in over 200 countries, and at its peak, reaching more than a billion viewers every week. The unforgettable original series starred heartthrob David Hasselhoff and helped launch the careers of international superstars from Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra to Jason Momoa and Yasmine Bleeth. The series reboot will celebrate the franchise's enduring legacy, while re-energizing it for today's global audience. Fans can expect all the adrenaline-fueled rescues, tangled relationships, complicated chemistry and beachside heroics that defined the original - now with an entirely new cast, contemporary trappings, tensions and challenges, and a renewed mission to protect Southern California's shoreline.
