SOPHIA BUSH, JERRY O'CONNELL AND VIOLET MCGRAW TO HEADLINE UPCOMING TUBI ORIGINAL MOVIE "SUMMER'S LAST RESORT"

Tim Rozon Also Joins the Cast with the Movie Currently in Production

SAN FRANCISCO, JANUARY 15, 2026 - Tubi (www.tubitv.com), Fox Corporation's (NASDAQ: FOXA, FOX) ad-supported streaming service, today announced its latest Tubi Original Movie SUMMER'S LAST RESORT, a comedy starring Sophia Bush (One Tree Hill, Good Sam), Jerry O'Connell (Billions, Star Trek: Lower Decks) and Violet McGraw (M3GAN Franchise). Also joining the cast is Tim Rozon (Wynonna Earp, Schitt's Creek). The YA comedy is currently in production.

A high-strung teen's vacation takes a turn when she's trapped with her free-spirited mom's try-hard boyfriend, who also happens to be her vice principal. Determined to end the romance, she hatches a secret breakup plan that spirals into a week of sunburns, sabotage and unexpected feelings. SUMMER'S LAST RESORT is written by Emily Andras (Wynonna Earp, Lost Girl) and directed by Melanie Scrofano (Heartland, Wynonna Earp).

"With SUMMER'S LAST RESORT, we're further expanding our slate of young adult originals and bringing together an exceptional team of talent to deliver a character-driven comedy that speaks to Gen Z viewers and their families," said Adam Lewinson, Chief Content Officer, Tubi. "Sophia Bush, Jerry O'Connell and Violet McGraw bring a perfect blend of humor and heart to this relatable comedy about growing up, letting go, and surviving the world's most awkward family vacation.

Violet McGraw plays "Summer," a tightly wound, hyper-competent teen who acts as her family's default adult. Beneath the organized panic is a good time goblin dying to escape, and a daughter who just wants her mom to quit dating trainwrecks.

Sophia Bush plays "Milly." As Summer's mom, she's a maternal storm of love and chaos who might forget it's Picture Day, but remembers all of the magical moments. She lives on vibes, not schedules, and tries to act like an adult... but it's hard when being fun is basically your personality.

Jerry O'Connell plays the well-meaning Vice Principal, "Glenn," who happens to be in a relationship with Milly, much to Summer's dismay. With golden-retriever energy and cargo shorts to match - he's corny, sincere, and impossible not to root for, trying so hard it's almost heroic.

Tim Rozon plays, "Captain Otto," a flip-flop wearing wannabe pirate with movie-star swagger and criminal-adjacent instincts. He's dangerously seductive, mildly lawless, and just magnetic enough to make you forget you should stay as far away from him as you can.

SUMMER'S LAST RESORT is produced by Blue Ice Pictures with Lance Samuels and Emily Andras serving as executive producers.

Bush is repped by CAA, Entertainment 360, and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole. O'Connell is repped by CAA and 3 Arts Entertainment. McGraw is repped by Coast to Coast Talent Group, Linden Entertainment and Schreck Rose Dapello Adams Berlin & Dunham. Rozon is repped by Play Management. Scrofano is repped by Insight Entertainment and Ambition Talent. Andras is repped by Sundust Management.
