Netflix Revealed the Future of Mexican Stories Coming in 2026
Without a doubt, what's coming in 2026 celebrates diversity, creativity, wit and passion which characterizes Mexican people.

Netflix Revealed the Future of Mexican Stories Coming in 2026

Among the new releases, six new titles were announced: Alicia's Law, starring Fernanda Castillo; Takedown, a feature film starring Alfonso Herrera and Noé Hernández; the documentary about Saúl "Canelo" Álvarez; the reality competition show Physical 100: Mexico; Netflix's first live event in Latin America, SUPERNOVA: GENESIS; and the series El otro padre, starring Manolo Cardona, Erik Hayser, and Silvia Navarro.

Additionally, the first look of three previously announced projects was presented: I'm not afraid, directed by Ernesto Contreras; Netflix's first title starring Gael García Bernal alongside Paulina Dávila in Santita, a series premiering in April; and El círculo, a series starring Zuria Vega, Osvaldo Benavides, Michel Brown, and Raul Briones, adapted from the novel Los corruptores by Jorge Zepeda Patterson. Also announced, along with new images, was the cast that will join Diego Luna in México 86: Karla Souza, Daniel Giménez Cacho, and Álvaro Guerrero. New images were also released from the adaptation of Ángeles Mastretta's novel Mal de amores.

Lastly, a behind the scenes peek from the documentary A child of my own - directed by Maite Alberdi, which will have its global premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival - and Against the Hurricane, a feature film inspired by the Otis hurricane.
