NBC RENEWS INNOVATIVE REALITY TRAVEL COMPETITION SERIES "DESTINATION X" FOR SEASON TWO

Hosted by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Hit Series Combines Adventure and Gameplay

Casting Currently Underway for New Season

· NBC has ordered a sophomore season of the hit reality adventure series "Destination X." Hosted by actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan ("The Walking Dead," "The Boys"), the innovative series combines spectacular adventure travel and immersive gameplay with the ultimate guessing game.

· Produced by Twofour and Universal Television Alternative Studio, a division of Universal Studio Group, production on "Destination X" will begin later this year.

· "Destination X" was the #1 new show of the summer and reached more than 20 million viewers across all platforms. It also stands as the best alternative series launch on Peacock.

· "'Destination X' is returning with the world as our playground to deliver new unforgettable adventures that will keep viewers guessing every step of the way," said Sharon Vuong, EVP, Unscripted Programming, NBC. "With the incomparable Jeffrey Dean Morgan back at the helm, season two promises to deliver surprising twists and push boundaries even further."

· "'Destination X' pushes the boundaries of what unscripted television can deliver with a truly global experience that feels cinematic, exhilarating and unlike anything else on TV," said Toby Gorman, President, Universal Television Alternative Studio. "With this new season, we're dialing everything up even more, taking both the contestants and the audience on adventures that are bigger, bolder and completely unexpected."

· Merging fantasy with reality in this larger-than-life adventure competition series, contestants embark on the road trip of a lifetime but have no idea of their location. In order to win, they must figure out their mystery locations. Once they're on the blacked-out Destination X bus, the journey transforms into a real-life game board, with challenges designed to offer clever clues as to their location, along with a few misdirects to keep them guessing. At the end of each episode, the contestant who places an X on a map farthest from the actual location packs their bags. The first participant to reach the final Destination X will be crowned the winner and take home $250,000.

· Casting for season two is currently underway. For those who love international travel, adventure and outsmarting the competition, applicants can visit https://dx.castingcrane.com/.

· Based on the award-winning Belgian format, the series was created by Geronimo and is distributed globally by Be-Entertainment.

· "Destination X" for NBC is produced by Twofour, part of ITV Studios, and Universal Television Alternative Studio, a division of Universal Studio Group.

· Andy Cadman, Sophie Alcock, Darren Brown, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Emanuel Vanderjeudg executive produce alongside Twofour's Dan Adamson and Shireen Abbott.
