PEACOCK ORDERS "THE BREAK-IN," NEW MYSTERY SERIES FROM CARNIVAL FILMS AND WRITER MEGAN GALLAGHER
"All Her Fault" Writer/Creator to Adapt New Series from Katherine Faulkner's Bestselling Mystery
· Today Peacock announced it has greenlit "The Break-In," a new drama series adapted from Katherine Faulkner's bestselling domestic mystery novel.
· Written and executive produced by Megan Gallagher and produced by Carnival Films, whose previous collaboration with Peacock, "All Her Fault," became the platform's biggest original launch to date, amassing 45 million hours viewed in its first four weeks.
· In the aftermath of a devastating home invasion, Alice Rathbone refuses to accept that the tragic event was simply random. Desperate for answers, Alice starts pulling at threads and soon finds a trail of dark secrets that spiral closer to home than she could ever have imagined.
· Carnival Films' Gareth Neame and Nigel Marchant ("The Day of the Jackal," "Lockerbie: A Search for Truth") will serve as executive producers alongside Christine Sacani and Katherine Faulkner.

· Megan Gallagher is an Oslo-based, American-born writer and creator known for her distinctive voice in high-end international television drama. Most recently, she created, wrote, and executive produced the Critics' Choice and Golden Globe-nominated "All Her Fault" for Peacock, a premium limited series developed with Carnival Films. Starring Sarah Snook ("Succession") and Jake Lacy ("The White Lotus"), the series became Peacock's biggest original launch to date, amassing 45 million hours viewed in its first four weeks, and stands as Sky's highest-performing drama of 2025. Gallagher was also writer and executive producer of psychological crime thriller "Wolf," a six-part series adapted for the BBC from Mo Hayder's acclaimed Jack Caffery novels, directed by Kristoffer Nyholm ("Taboo," "The Enfield Haunting") and produced by Hartswood (Sherlock) and APC Studios.
