Why "See You at Work Tomorrow!" Is the Office Romance Everyone Will Relate To

SINGAPORE - June 17, 2026 - Prime Video's highly anticipated series See You at Work Tomorrow! unveiled its first details at a press conference, introducing a witty and heartfelt romance that captures the emotional realism of modern office life. Director Cho Eun-sol was joined by stars Seo In-guk, Park Ji-hyun, Kang Mi-na and Choi Kyung-hoon to share behind-the-scenes insights and tease the heart-fluttering office romance fans have been waiting for.

Blending workplace satire with irresistible romantic tension, See You at Work Tomorrow! follows the unexpected romance between Kang Si-woo (Seo In-guk), the company's most avoided team leader, and Cha Ji-yoon (Park Ji-hyun), a seventh-year product planner who has sworn off dating after a painful breakup. Burned out from corporate life, Ji-yoon lives by efficiency, deadlines and the simple joy of fried chicken and beer after clocking out right on time - but her closed heart begins to open again when Si-woo enters her life. Based on the hit Kakao Webtoon by McQueen Studio, the series captures the heart, humour and heat of modern workplace romance while telling the story of people who, no matter how difficult the day has been, still show up for work the next morning. See You at Work Tomorrow! premieres June 22 in over 240 countries and territories, exclusively on Prime Video.

With the debut just days away, here's why you need to watch it:

1. Seo In-guk's "Three-No Man" Has More Than Meets the Eye

Seo In-guk

Known for his romantic appeal in titles such as Boyfriend on Demand and Doom at Your Service, Seo In-guk takes on a more grounded office romance that reveals a new side of his performance. As Kang Si-woo, he plays a blunt, precise and emotionally restrained team leader who is often misunderstood because of his cold exterior, but is in fact warm, deeply considerate, and devoted to his team.

Seo shared that he was excited to play "a meticulous character who seems to plan everything," adding, "I think its realistic story and small, charming moments will resonate with many viewers." Through Si-woo, Seo brings sharp professionalism, subtle emotional shifts and unexpected warmth to a romance grounded in everyday reality.

2. Park Ji-hyun Brings Real Heart to a Burned-Out Office Worker

Park Ji-hyun

After showcasing her versatility across projects including Wild Sing, You and Everything Else and Flex x Cop, Park Ji-hyun steps into one of her most relatable roles yet as Cha Ji-yoon, a seventh-year product planner worn down by work and heartbreak. Practical, dependable and quietly resilient, Ji-yoon represents the many working adults who keep moving forward even when their passion begins to fade.

On what makes Ji-yoon so relatable, Park said, "She is a character with a story and emotions that many people can relate to. Even when she faces different kinds of pain and failure, she continues to pursue her passion, and I think viewers will be able to find both comfort and connection through her." Park Ji Hyun's warm and authentic performance makes Ji-yoon's journey of rediscovering work and love especially easy to root for.

3. Seo In-guk and Park Ji-hyun's Heart-Fluttering Chemistry

At the heart of the series is the evolving dynamic between Kang Si-woo and Cha Ji-yoon, whose contrasting personalities create plenty of tension, humor and heart-fluttering moments in the workplace. As their uneasy connection grows into a mature romance, the two begin to see beyond each other's guarded exteriors. Both actors shared that filming Si-woo and Ji-yoon's romance often gave them butterflies.

Park Ji-hyun said, "I think I always felt that fluttering feeling whenever we filmed the romance scenes." Director Cho Eun-sol added, "I hope that after watching the series, viewers will feel inspired to love and start dating." With Seo In-guk and Park Ji-hyun bringing Si-woo and Ji-yoon's gradual emotional shift to life, anticipation continues to build for a romance that feels both believable and deeply charming.

4. A Lively Ensemble That Expands the Story

Beyond its central romance, See You at Work Tomorrow! brings together a lively ensemble that adds humor, warmth and emotional depth to the series.

Director Cho Eun-sol leads the series with a grounded yet charming touch, focusing on the subtle exchanges and unspoken feelings that shape relationships at work, while noting the series' "solid narrative that allows the characters' delicate emotions to unfold with depth."

Kang Mi-na stars as Yoon No-ah, Ji-yoon's junior colleague. Reflecting on her sisterly rapport between the two characters, Kang shared, "I felt a special energy whenever I exchanged lines with Ji-hyun." Seo In-guk also recalled the warm atmosphere on set, saying, "The set was full of laughter."

Choi Kyung-hoon adds another layer to Ji-yoon's journey as Cho Ga-eul, her first love from university and an aspiring band vocalist. Park Ji-hyun also pointed to "the process of each character's growth" as a key highlight beyond the romance.

5. A Mature, Realistic Office Romance

See You at Work Tomorrow! brings a refreshing twist to the office romance genre by offering viewers a love story that feels both romantic and close to real life.

Through Si-woo and Ji-yoon, two adults who have learned to keep their emotions guarded, the series captures the quiet tension, comfort and honesty of a romance shaped by real-life experiences. Director Cho Eun-sol described the romance between Kang Si-woo and Cha Ji-yoon as "mature and grounded," adding, "The way they consider and care for each other will be heartwarming to watch, and I think those moments will give viewers something to look forward to."
