· Academy Award(R) Nominee Andrea Riseborough will star alongside Emmy(R) and Tony(R) Award Winner, Oscar(R) Nominee and executive producer Jeremy Strong (Succession, Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere, The Apprentice) in 9/12, the upcoming six-episode limited series for Paramount+ that tells the story of the David vs. Goliath fight that exposed corruption and won justice for 9/11's ailing heroes.

· Andrea Riseborough (To Leslie, The Regime) will play "Molly," Coach's resilient wife who is deeply concerned her husband's health and family's future. She demands help and finds hope in Jason's (Jeremy Strong) legal expertise.

· 9/12 dramatizes a landmark case that reshaped the fight for accountability: a relentless legal war that stretched nearly a decade to secure almost $1 billion in compensation for first responders who fell gravely ill in the wake of 9/11.

· As previously announced, Jeremy Strong stars as renowned class action lawyer Jason Smith, who risked everything to take on entrenched institutions, exposing the politics, greed, corruption and betrayal that compounded tragedy set against the emergency workers' extraordinary unity and unflinching bravery as The World Trade Center was collapsing. Riseborough also joins Barry Pepper (The Kennedys, Saving Private Ryan) who will play "Coach," Molly's husband former NYPD police officer and 9/11 first responder suffering from leukemia, a result of his work at ground zero.

· Produced by Paramount Television Studios and SISTER, the limited series is written, directed and executive produced by Tobias Lindholm (The Investigation, A War) and written and executive produced by Frank Pugliese (House of Cards). Strong is also executive producer.

· Andrea Riseborough is an Academy Award-nominated actor who most recently starred in Jan Komasa's Good Boy and Paul Andrew Williams' Dragonfly. Other recent film credits include Goodbye June, Ellen Kuras' Lee, and Funny Birds. Riseborough earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Lead Actress and an Independent Spirit Award nomination for her acclaimed performance in Michael Morris' To Leslie. She subsequently starred opposite Domhnall Gleeson in Alice & Jack and appeared in The Regime. She has also wrapped Alex Marx's The Queen of Fashion, in which she stars as and produces the story of fashion editor Isabella Blow. Upcoming projects include the thriller First Woman, Ti West's Ebenezer alongside Johnny Depp and Ian McKellen, and Antonia Campbell-Hughes' High End. Other credits include Matilda the Musical, Amsterdam, The Electrical Life of Louis Wain, Luxor, Possessor, ZeroZeroZero, The Death of Stalin, Birdman, Nocturnal Animals, Oblivion, Bloodline, and Shadow Dancer, for which she won multiple Best Actress awards.
