New Limited Netflix Documentary Series 'Mourinho' Reveals First Look Image, Teaser and Release Date
Netflix revealed the first look image and teaser for the new documentary series, MOURINHO which will launch globally on Netflix from 11th August 2026.
About MOURINHO
No career in football has generated more masterstrokes, headlines or contradictions. Twenty years on from the night he shocked the sporting world by leading FC Porto to Champions League glory, José Mourinho has gone on to manage some of the biggest clubs on the planet - from Chelsea and Inter Milan to Real Madrid, where he has now returned.
Filmed over two years, MOURINHO tells the story of the man who revolutionised what it meant to be a football manager, charting his rise into one of football's most trophy-laden and outspoken figures - winning league titles in four different countries and lifting the Champions League twice.
With exclusive access to Mourinho himself, alongside candid interviews with Sir Alex Ferguson, John Terry, Iker Casillas, Zlatan Ibrahimović, Didier Drogba, Marcelo, Samuel Eto'o, Javier Zanetti, Frank Lampard, Petr Čech and more of football's greatest names - this three-part documentary goes beyond the headlines and the touchline theatrics to get under the skin of the "Special One."
From BECKHAM producer and double Academy Award(R)-winner John Battsek, and BAFTA and Emmy(R)-nominated director Joe Pearlman (Robbie Williams; Lewis Capaldi: How I'm Feeling Now), MOURINHO is a portrait of football's ultimate contradiction: the winner the game can't live without, and can't always live with.
